Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji during Teppotsavam – Mysore – December 28, 2012
This year I am very happy and feeling different at this Teppotsavam, the raft festival. Very good arrangements are made in this occasion. Today the Moon is also witnessing this raft festival. O moon! How are you and your people? I wish all of you to visit the zodiac birds tomorrow from 3 pm to 5 pm. And afterwards those who had taken the DVDs can watch the ‘Datta Darshanam’ movie along with Swamiji.
Today I have observed that though most of the people were singing the bhajans some of them had zipped their lips. Has anything happened back at their homes? Have they fallen down? Are they deaf? Has Hanuman hit them on their lips? Do they have bad breath? What is reason for not singing?
Swamiji had narrated a story
There was an innocent village person who had undergone bypass surgery. After he was shifted to his room he had started weeping and asked the doctors what they had found in his heart. The doctors were confused. They had doubted themselves that they might have forgotten any needle or a pair scissors inside during the operation. After a lot of effort they could make him to speak. He said that in his childhood his father used to tell him that though his heart is cut open he don’t find even two letter to read. He was wondering whether they had found any letters in his heart!
Even we cut their lips open it seems they are not ready to say Jaya Guru Datta! All of you say JAYA GURU DATTA loudly!
Somebody is sitting tight lipped over there. Say Jaya Guru Datta!
Swamiji made every one to repeat ‘Jaya Guru Datta’ for nine times and
‘Om Namo Hanumathe Namaha’ for three times.
Karya siddhi Hanuman is looking wonderful wearing Vada Mala.
Jaya Guru Datta!
