Time never stops for anyone. Once the news caster finishes his report, and if you have missed a part of it, it will not be repeated. Once a breath is gone, it will not return. Our saved up breaths, like a bank balance, we are now using up, what Lord Brahma had given us.
(Appaji recollected the trip to the Antarctica. The narration was audible in small bits and pieces.)
The cold was extreme. All the passengers had to keep their winter clothing on throughout. It was so cold that people could freeze if they were not careful. Even Londoners would have felt the cold to be extreme. (Appaji worshiped the Shiva Linga there without his gloves on).
So many people perished during their pilgrimage to Kedarnath and Badarinath. They traveled without consulting the astrologers for auspicious dates for travel and about the caution given in their horoscopes.
Whoever has had dinner today, please raise your hands.
In every well the water is different. It is extraordinary.
I say this to everyone.
People of all faiths go there.
You cannot even obtain a coconut there to tie one.
Kerala is full of coconuts as you know.
Two wishes they ask to be fulfilled. Please give us a second chance to visit. Please satisfy our desires.
People have to return home. Tomorrow’s program will be announced. What a big kshetram this is! There is a Siva shrine, Marakata Rajarajeswari is here.
Rama Parivaram is also here. What else is here? All the deities are here in this Patamata ashram in their full glory.
Their level of sacrifice is enormous. You must not be disrespectful towards them.
I am very busy. Therefore, you exorcise the evil spirit yourself.
You have rendered great service.
Their good fortune is indescribable.

Sri Guru Datta
