Speech in the morning
I am now free to spend my time with my parrots. I have delegated other responsibilities to Sri Bala Swami. The parrots are not trained in any systematic way. They grasp and repeat whatever they hear. They keep chanting Rama’s name with enthusiasm by their own initiative and will. Please see the video posted on YouTube. The parrots are very loving towards Swamiji. If I say to them that I am hungry, they bring and feed me pieces of apple. One small bird places honey on my lips from its own food bowl. If I spit it out afraid of infection to the bird from my saliva, it gets upset and pokes me all over the face. It brings me honey again and waits and watches until I accept it. Then it is happy. It keeps chanting in my ear Datta Datta in a soft voice. I take pleasure in cleaning the parrots and their surroundings. I feel no repulsion at their mess or droppings. I feel like simply living amidst them. They are very dear to me. I am done teaching Upanishads and Scriptures. Now I give lectures and teach Parrot Purana.

Ugadi greetings and blessings to all for prosperity, peace of mind, dedication to duty, devotion, good health, balance in nature, family wellbeing, success in studies, and profit in business and employment.
Good bye to the departing year Vijaya and Welcome to the New Year Jaya. The New Year begins on Monday, the day of the moon. May he bless us with a steady mind.
Jaya and Vijaya are a little unstable. They are gatekeepers of Lord Vishnu. They always served their Lord with dedication. But once they suffered a curse. They are Manus who have incarnated as years. They tend to create earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, and making new lands appear and existing islands disappear. They were once kings, and hence, they have a predominance of Rajo guna.
Now political representatives are beginning to negotiate and come to compromises. Please elect your leaders carefully. Do not allow selfish interests to determine your selection of leaders. I pray Jaya Year’s god to guide the minds of all. I pray that all problems should be resolved. I pray to Lord Hanuman to balance the good and bad, profit and loss, and although the forecast seems to be leaning towards the negative, with hardships and losses to be expected, I pray for a good harvest. I pray for strength to face the difficulties that we may have to face. I pray for peace and comfort to all.

May Lord Venkateswara of the 7 Chakras protect us. Lord of seven hills, Jaya and Vijaya are your attendants. Please direct them to rule us in a proper manner. We place our trust in you. We place our trust in your protection, O protector of Dharma, let us not be fearful of extremes in heat or rain. The five elements are under your control, so are the planets and all the spheres. I place the burden on you. You wear the burden of devotees as a garland. Just by seeing you all difficulties disappear. May this Jaya year be beneficial to all, devotees and non-devotees as well. All living creatures are your children, O Lord. You are the witness. May this be a year of victory. May success be ours in all good endeavors. You are Datta. You are Venkateswara Swami. Please forgive all mistakes and sins.

Jaya Guru Datta
Healing Music Therapy – “Play Away” – IPod release with 12 hour continuous play.
This music cannot be copied or added to. This is a medicinal treatment. Use either with earphones or supplemental speakers for the whole family to listen and derive benefit. Instrumental healing music.
Once, Swamiji was unable to walk after returning from Singapore. He was ordered bed rest. Swamiji went to the recording studio and played 400 ragas and recorded them all within the duration of 40 days. This recording contains only instrumental music of different ragas. No other musician in history has ever played so many different and unusual ragas sequentially like this. At all hours during day and night, as and when the inspiration occurred, Swamiji played. Whenever the Raga presented itself in Swamiji’s heart, he played. This music will take you to a different world. You will not feel like stopping to listen. These will not give any unfavorable side effects. This recording consists of 200 Ragas. The second part will be released later. Each raga is associated with a certain color, tree, a numeral, a disease, a set of notes and rhythms, and so on. Much research has gone into this production. No one else has contributed to this music. Swamiji alone has produced the sound of 11 different instruments. No accompanying musicians have participated in this recording. Different ragas are associated with different activities conducted at various times during the day. This IPod is available only from Sri Swamiji directly. Orders have to be placed through the bookstall.
Vanara Gita CD is released. A significant part of the History of Lord Hanuman. This work helps in healing many diseases. Please listen to it. Each song is a praise of Lord Hanuman sung by each of the followers of Lord Hanuman, such as Angada, Sugriva, and others. This was sung and recorded by Sri Swamiji, extempore. Later, some musical embellishments were added. All are slokas. Daily listening is highly beneficial. The slokas have to be rendered precisely, without additional musical improvisations which will spoil the effect. This CD is available in sufficient numbers at the bookstall for purchase. Each great soul praises Lord Hanuman in his own unique manner. The puja ritual is also included.
Vayuputra Raga Sagara – CD release: A rare raga Chandika is included in this selection. This is a recording of the Healing Music Concert of Sri Swamiji rendered in Cochin.
