Today is Saturday, a very precious and powerful day. Every Saturday chant Hanuman mantra, Hanuman Chalisa, Sundara Kanda and Hanuman Bhajans. It gives more energy to your body and mind. Dark moon day – one side is full moon and one side is dark moon. Indra said, fully dark moon is not good so if you go to the other side with full moon, then it will give balance for our earth. Anjaneya came to the dark moon place. More than on full moon, he gives his presence on new moon. He likes Amavasya. A very precious yantra day. Tantric people choose this day for mantra, yantra and tantra. Saints and our rishis also have chosen this day for beginning their own calculations.
Full moon day is Guru Day. It is Guru mantra, Guru yantra, Guru tantra day. Anyway in my opinion, in my calculation, each day is a precious day. Each moment, each inhalation, and exhalation is precious. If you are sitting, eating, talking, doing all kinds of karma, body karma you are performing, all movements also – it is an opportunity for you to use it for a good purpose. It is not our own security. It is an everyday journey to our destination, God. So many different Karmas, yantras, mantras, you must follow. You think only about reaching your God, your Guru. That is what you should strongly think about as you do your karmas. If you think, I want this, I want this, I want this, I want to do this, I want to do this – don’t think like that. Don’t say that. All you should want is to reach the chamber of Guru, reach Guru’s heart, reach Guru’s feet. Think only this, as you perform all karmas. Then definitely you get a good result.
You can use this Kshetra/pilgrimage center, this gigantic historical place, gigantic not only because of the murti, in India there are taller murtis – 80, 100, 200 ft it is not important. Our own murti is very powerful no doubt.
Swamiji has given a secret yantra to this place. People are thinking that Swamiji has put it inside the murti. No. You don’t know. This place, where, you don’t know. That yantra attracts you. If you offer prayers near that yantra, the Lord hears your problems. Such a yantra pratishtha Swamiji has given to this place. You can talk about this gigantic murti here. Hanumanta is always chanting Rama Rama. Rama is thinking, someone may doubt about the bird sitting on the shoulder. So the bird also begins to chant Rama Rama Rama.
Jambavanta and some other monkey gods are very happy. They are singing Rama Rama. Hanumanta knows who this bird is. He caresses the bird. I told the priest to put some toy bird on the left side of Hanumanta, on the left shoulder for decoration. If you feed some birds, Rama is eating. Not the birds. If you see birds near Hanuman, it is real Rama’s presence, Rama Sakshaatkaar. We are all very lucky. The bhajan singing was very good.
Sthapati has come from India. More work is going to be done for next year. Next year is 12th year Kumbhabhishekam. Again it should be painted. The light here is shining on this and the sun himself is eating the paint. The rays get into our eyes and the reflection gives us blessing. The reflection makes us happy.
This paint is good but not strong. We have a strong paint with a little bit of reflection. Anyway, I will give instructions. There are some repair works to be done. The temple is leaking. Some needed repairs to be done.
We are thinking about 7 days of music festival for next year. In any Indian language. Maybe some cinema musicians also. They also sing devotional songs. Maybe just one or two love songs. I am thinking Rama Sita. Devotional songs mostly. 6 days program we had in Mysore ashram with 15 thousand people attending. Kannada and Telugu cinema people. Mysore people came rushing. Next year we will invite for 7 days.
