We are going to create history this evening at the Nada Mantapa. One thousand voices will be singing 24 of Swamiji’s bhajans in unison. Blue ray DVD recording will be done. It will be sent to all television stations. All must support this project.
Dum dum Durga bhajan:
Entire saptashati Parayana’s benefit comes from singing just this song. It is studded with powerful mantra syllables. Paramacharya was there at the Kumbhabhishekam. He asked me why I had neglected to have the darshan of Govinda Dikshitar. And asked me to have darshan of Govinda Dikshitar. I went at once and paid my respects to him at that sacred temple in Tamil Nadu. This song was composed and was offered to mother goddess Durga Parameswari there.
If sung with Sraddha/sincere faith and devotion, it removes all troubles. Mother Durga punishes strictly all our wicked tendencies and protects us.
Dikshitar had composed the Kamalamba navavarana kritis at this location. Much Devi Upasana had occurred there. It was a very sacred and holy place and a very auspicious occasion when this Bhajan was composed. Gopalan was there.
I am very happy with this mass bhajan singing. I am speechless. Only tears of joy.
