I am very happy. 12 years after the temple was built in Trinidad with the towering 85 ft. Hanuman, this magnificent temple is built in Frisco, near Dallas, also in the western hemisphere. Although in between there have many temples built, and also Hanuman temples, they are not so grand. That too in a foreign country that this has taken place, makes me very happy. By the combined efforts of the hard working team, we have achieved a timely completion. It took the determination and devotion of lots of people who have given lots of support. This Hanuman yajna is a very powerful movement. Supporting this, all Datta devotees, and Hanuman devotees have gone through great sacrifices.
They have shown tremendous devotion. They have carried this responsibility along with their trips to Mysore, attending to their jobs, taking care of family duties, the education and upbringing of their children, and their service activities. Such great devotees are there. I feel very proud of their devotion and dedication. They set a great example. Their past life merit is the cause of their charitable and generous nature. Their level of devotion is exemplary. They have a great Guru by whose guidance and grace they are gaining so much of devotional strength. Their devotion is the kind that is mentioned in the Puranas. Despite the fact that their own parents in many instances had not shown this type of a devotional bent, or service mindedness, they have been able to develop and maintain these traits. They are all Karma yogis.
Many are in professions such as the software industry, engineering, and so on. Seeds of devotion they have sown in their families and in society. Some have even stopped going to Tirupati as a family tradition. They have shown full dedication towards serving Guru.
Huge loans have been incurred. These are not the types of loans incurred by Lord Venkateswara for His wedding, which is a two way loan. Here our debt in only to God. By service we repay that loan. He gives grace. Many times opportunities for Sevas are announced in the microphone. Truth I speak. The loans will all get cleared. All the anticipated developments will be fulfilled. The temple is a savings bank. When you give to God, or towards temple projects or Guru’s mission, it is a huge saving. It is best to give to God. Give to Guru. He gives as per merit and sin to whoever deserves, in a timely manner. He does for your welfare and your family welfare. You do not have the capacity to recognize a genuine need. Guru knows how to use your investments for your benefit. Whatever we offer to Hanuman, it will all come back to us with interest.
How much does one need to do for one’s children? Give them good education for them to secure good jobs. Marriage is their affair. Do not depend on anyone except on God. Do not keep hopes on children. If you do, your love for them will get destroyed because of your expectations. Hoping to depend on children in old age is a dosha, a sin.
Engage in Sadguru seva only. The Bhagavad Gita says that one must do karma. Guide and educate your kids. Do not have expectations from them. Guru gives even with no expectation on your part. A son from whom you expect a lot, does not give what is expected. We hope from a son many benefits. Nicely he makes you sign the papers to transfer your assets to him, with sweet words. Asks for more even. But, once the monies are transferred, he fails you. 99 percent of Swamiji’s devotees have been deceived by their children. Treat your child only as a friend. Duty towards them you must do. But, do not give up your financial security.
Hanuman is the real bank, the real son and friend. Guru is Paramatma, the Almighty. Trust your Guru. For seven lifetimes He protects. God in the temple is not a stone idol. He is a loving friend. You must make a habit of first offering to God and then eat. Share with God all good things always, as if He were a family member. Before you take a bite of food, first think whether Hanuman has had His meal. Before you turn a light on, remember to turn His light on by lighting a lamp. Did you remember to get new clothes for Hanuman before getting some for yourselves? Food, before you eat, think whether Guru has eaten.
In deep sleep you are totally helpless. If someone comes to slit your throat also you will not know. Your security guard is only God. He is invisible. It is not your alarm system or the hired security guards who protect you. They sleep when you sleep. Visible security is not dependable. Invisible God alone saves and protects. The temple conducts many good programs. Posts and email notifications from KSHT communicate to you about programs. Many people do not read the emails. It is wrong. Dedicate ten minutes to read the details about upcoming programs. It is a must. Get details and attend. Participate actively in the programs. All festivals you must attend. The colony people who live close to the temple are so lucky. I saw yesterday from the top of the temple building, the Agraharam/the residential area around the temple of all the dedicated devotees. They serve the temple. All Datta devotees. Great faith. Many have got jobs. Others who are still searching for jobs will also get soon. Maybe not so close. Maybe close by. Hanuman devotees are many. Many are not yet Swamiji’s devotees.
Great energy is there in the old temple. The new immense energy will be here from now on. Energy is not things to be transferred from one location to another. That energy remains there. Part time school for children will continue where moral stories from the scriptures, and Datta Kriya Yoga are being taught.
No superior or inferior feelings should be entertained amongst Datta devotees. The Committee people are not the masters of the organization. The temple belongs to Hanuman. They are all only servants. Do not cut your nose out of anger you harbor at the trustees. Treat your ego with medicine and get rid of it. This is not your mother-in-law’s home for giving out formal invitations. Do seva/service voluntarily before being asked. The committee people will guide you. They will tell you what is required to be done. You may do as per what is needed.
So many well placed officers are serving here giving rides in the hot sun on the golf carts. With such love for Swamiji they are serving. Devotees are offering footwear seva at the Footwear Stand. They are all officers. They are not koolies. So do not treat them like servants. The parking attendants are all professional personnel, doing volunteer service in the scorching heat. The Sthapati and his group of workers toil in the hot sun. Painters. Builders. All are showing such love. They have all done a splendid job. All who have helped have sacrificed a lot for the sake of our comfort. We are in air conditioned premises, cool and comfortable as if we are in the Himalayas. This feels like the Gandhamadana Mountain of Lord Hanuman. Those who donated for the air conditioning must always stay cool. That is my blessing to them.
This is a historic event. Dil-ash is what I call it, Heart’s desire. Kumbhabhishekam is taking place at the center of the heart. Not Dallas. Invisible God. He is only Hanuman. He is both Maha Vishnu, Siva, and the Mother Goddess, all rolled into one.
Ganesh Purana says that Ganesh and Hanuman are one and the same. Both are one and Hanuman is Guru Dakshinamurty also. Agni and all the gods and Datta also is incorporated in Hanuman. There is so much to say about Hanuman.
Hanuman’s glories are described in the Vanara Gita and in the Sundara Kanda. Swamiji wishes to narrate the history of all the deities consecrated here. Perhaps during this 40 days stay, the discourses will take place.
Prior to Guru Purnima we will have nonstop chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa all night and all day – Akhanda Parayana in the presence of Swamiji. Do not sleep here. Stay awake, as you do, when you drive at night. Please attend. Tonight, 1000 names of Hanuman will be chanted. Today Svarna Archana with 108 names of Hanuman will be performed by Swamiji. Hanuman’s color is gold, like the early morning Sun’s rays. Gold coin Archana will be done after the first abhishekam. You may purchase the coins Swamiji had touched during the puja. 150 or so coins are available. You may give as a blessed gift for your unmarried daughter. You may also give to your daughter in law. Or wear it yourself if you wish.
I am very happy. App ji is a new application being developed only for private use for one way communication from Swamiji to devotees worldwide. People will receive on their mobile phones daily inspiration or spiritual messages. 4-5 years it has been going on. Going on with voice mail from Swamiji sometimes with individuals. Swamiji will enquire about children. About 200 members are there now with two way communication. Monthly or annual payments you may make to support this venture. As per luck and affordability, please participate. We take our own server and use it to send messages free to one lakh or two lakhs daily – moral, inspirational or spiritual messages. Yesterday 100 devotees have already given donations. SGS Posts is the name of this project. Ravi Anupindi will explain the details. I am very happy. In my 73 years this is an unforgettable event. There are of course, many other such unforgettable events. Yes. It is true. The Australia concert was one such, at the Sydney Opera House. Yes. Every event is an unforgettable occasion. My voice cooperated today and allowed me to speak. Thanks. It is better today after five days.

Hanuman as yajneswara gave darshan this morning during Purnahuti. He appeared as if He was wearing a fiery crown and a shield or blanket of fire. Only those who have true devotion for Hanuman will be able to see the Lord in the photograph. Others will not see Him.
A king loved clothes. Tailors made all kinds of clothes to please him. Four lazy fellows asked for one year to prepare very special clothes for the king. After a year the minister was sent to check the progress. The minister went, and looked for the yarn and the loom where they were supposed to prepare the fabric. Where is the loom? He asked. Where is the cloth?
Only those who revere the king will see the cloth, the minister was told. It was an invisible cloth. If anyone declared that they did not like king, they got beheaded. So everyone claimed to love the king. Many saw the prepared clothing. They all agreed that it was a great cloth. The king was eager to be clothed in the fancy robes. He became very enthusiastic. Everyone acted as if they were dressing him. On the horse he rode wearing the long elaborate invisible robe. The fat king went on a parade. Announcements were made by the minister. Only those who love the king can see the special robes. Finally a child spoke out the truth that the king was riding around the town on horseback stark naked.
During Purnahuti, Hanuman gave darshan in the Homa kunda. During Swamiji’s youth Vinyaka gave darshan during his Upanayanam. Hanuman was wearing an Agni Kireetam/ a crown of Fire. Hanuman wore an Agni kavacham/a shield of fire. If there is no devotion, one cannot see. Why only today? Why did no other deities appear?

After Narada, Hanuman comes as the greatest singer of Divya Namasankeertana. Hanuman represents all the nine types of devotion. He came to the earth during Ramayana. Before that Hanuman remained without a form. Rama gave the blessing to Hanuman that in Kali Yuga all Hanuman temples will thrive. Rama gave lots of boons to Hanuman. Hanuman is a great orator. Pure precise speech. Pleasant. Gave good darshan. It is okay to worship Hanuman if it is not possible to worship Rama.

Hanuman gives boons only if He is praised. Mere prostration is no sufficient. He has a curse that He forgets His own power and glory. He has to be reminded of His greatness. About the greatness of the deities consecrated at the Dallas temple, a CD has been made. Veena maestro Chitti Babu’s son gave the musical score for the background music.

Hanuman chalisa 500 Crores Hanuman Chalisa Parayana has been finished. USA is now falling behind by 20 per cent. Japan and Korea are doing more. Target for completion is November. If it is done in time it is good.
The queue for darshan of the deities seems to be unending. Have darshan on this first day. It is very special. First Harati in the new temple is going to take place nine hours after birth of Hanuman at this temple. He likes the number nine.
