From yesterday 1 pm to today 1 pm, the time is called Vaaruna Yogam. It is very rare and auspicious. It comes once in 80 years. As per Hindu shastra, during this time we must perform good deeds or stay in Sadguru’s presence or have darshan in a temple. Everyone must do this. During this time, there would be some reactions in the atmosphere. There would be some peculiar happennings in the Sun, Moon and stars. The climate might change to either too hot or too cold or it may rain. The weather throught the year is based on this planetary position.
In Bhagavatam, there is a person called Venudu. He is very wicked and turns out to a great devotee of Lord Narayana at the end. Devatas are born from his body. Khatvanga is another such person. His life span is only seven seconds. He conquered over all countries. Indra and others reach out to Narada and tells him about the sufferings they are facing from Khatvanga. Narada meets Khatvanga and says, you have acquired all that of Devatas and all that is not related to you. Do you think you can ever enjoy these acquisitions ? Khatvanga replies yes. Narada questions him, do you know your life span ? You will be alive only for seven seconds. How can you enjoy all these in those seven seconds ? You have not spent them on meritorious deeds also.
Realised with these words of Narada, Khatvanga donates everything to Kasyapa Maharshi. His time of seven seconds is equal to 15 minutes as per human calculations. What can he do in those 15 minutes ? Narada initiates him into Narayana mantra. He started chanting Narayana Narayana for those 7 seconds. That devotion gave him salvation. All the devatas are scared of his wickedness once.
When ever we find time, we must talk about God. We must talk about His stories. We must talk about Dharma. We must talk about truth. We must talk about faith. We must talk about penance. We must talk about Dhyana. We must talk about cleanliness. Purity of heart. Your mind must be clean. Your words must be pure. Your actions must be pure.
In the wordly sense, Swamiji has knowledge in all the fields. He knows everything. He is experienced in all the worldly affairs. May it be Science or Agriculture or any field, He is experienced. I have worked even in a post office. I supplied milk also door to door on a cycle. There is nothing that I haven’t done. There is no course that I have not read. There is nothing that I haven’t heard. I’m not talking about my incarnation. I’m talking at a physical plane. I’m talking about the physical deeds done by Ganapathi Sachchidananda. I know all your sufferings. If anyone tells me anything, that’s not new to me. If someone explains anything to me about science, it is not new to me. I experienced it already. If someone talks to me about some research, I laugh to myself. But I dont show it out that I already knew it. I listen to them completely and encourage them. If they stop in between, I tell them that I don’t know about it and ask them to tell me about it just to encourage them. I have experienced everything in all the fields. Except for getting married and producing children, I gained knowledge in everything else. I do not even have secret wives. Except getting married I have seen everything else in this world. This is called Nishta. This is Penance. This is Suchitvam – virtuous. I’m protecting these virtues and am living as per them. This is one of the 12 commandments told by my mother Jaya Lakshmi Mata. I always follow them. I do not leave even one of those 12. When I walk, speak, sit, eat, sleep, and even when there is any difference in my body condition, I don’t leave those rules and strictly adhere to them. I live as per those 12 commandments. I do not come out of it. I do not come out of that circle. I can come out and am capable of coming out. But I do not like to come out of it. I do it for the sake of people who walk along with me. In my association, people do not feel the pain of their sufferings. They mentally feel very strong in all their sufferings when they feel Swamiji’s presence in their life. They know that they cannot escape from their sufferings. Yet they feel very strong when they feel Swamiji is with them. Many people experienced this already. They dont leave Swamiji under any circumstances.
When a boat is about to sink, one bold person in the boat talks words of courage. He too knows that the boat will sink. Yet he speaks brave. People listening to him also knows that the boat will sink. Yet you see some faith in them. That is energy for them. A person gets carried away in the flow of river. He finds a hay straw and holds it for support. Will it protect him ? No. But some faith for him. He will definetely get drowned. But he will drown along with the hay straw. He feels he has some company. You all have such faith in me.
Today, prasadam will be given to the donors of this newly built hall. I want to see all of them. Dont ask me why ? Why not ? It is my wish. I want to see them. This hall is so beautiful. We named it as Gna Na Bha Yoga Hall. Gna is Gnana, Na is Nada, Bha is Bhakti, Yoga Hall. Sometime back we started Gna Na Bha Yoga Conferences. With Swamiji, everyday is Gna Na Bha Yoga. Whether Swamiji sings or talks it is Gna Na Bha Yoga. Even when annadanam is performed, it falls into this. Nothing is done beyond this. It takes 2 years to build this hall. It was constructed in just 6 months. It is very surprising. Only God knows how these pillars stand here. For the past many years Swamiji desired to sing bhajans under a concrete roof. Today it is fulfilled. It is a fulfillment for bhajans. Not for me. For me, I’m happy if you all are happy.
I want to give a gift to this building. You all must come and see that. Gita Sarah dance ballet will be done here tomorrow. Do not miss. Each one of you must come and watch it along with me. Bhagavat Gita is getting popular everywhere. Children are learning it. Many children in India are getting prepared for Kurukshetra trip after Navaratri. Gita Parayana will be done at Kurukshetra. I do not know who all are memorising it. The first program on this stage is Gita Sarah. Let us all attend this tomorrow without fail. Even if you have some work at home, leave everything and come. I wasn’t sure if I would come for the program today. They said not to speak. But I wanted to come. I usually do not cause hindrance to anything on my own. If still it happens it is not from me. Now, I want to see all the donors. I’m so happy with them. My thousands of blessings for all of them.
Did anyone participate in Pradhana Homa ? Stand up. I want to see you. I’m sending prasadam to you all to your places. You must not leave Pradhana Homam. We all came to Swamiji through it.
