Swamiji is a personification of discipline. Do not try to fall all over Him, try to speak to Him, touch His feet, or crowd around Him during this consecration event.
On the 31st of January Swamiji went to Singapore, on 6th January, He performed Ratha Saptami in Hyderabad, thereafter He proceeded to Chennai, Nellore, Guntur, Alamuru, Pithapuram and surrounding villages. He reached Pithapuram close to midnight. After the Kumbhabhishekam there, Swamiji has visited Rajahmundry, Gokavaram, Chebrolu, and other places to bless the devotees there. All this was done in just 4 days.
No one believes that Swamiji is over 70 years old. He is as agile as a youngster, all because of His dedication and eagerness for establishing dharma and to inspire righteousness amongst the people. This is still a human body and requires care and concern, although it has divine energy. You have to give respect to His body. See the Sun, but if you touch the Sun, you will get burned. Wait to be called and spoken to, by Swamiji.
Since the ashram began in 1966, till 1993, no restrictions were placed, no ropes or barricades. Swamiji’s glance alone is enough to shower blessings. Earlier, devotees were disciplined. Walking God is Sadguru. No need to selfishly crowd around Him. He is Sadguru to all the 14 worlds, not just for a few persons. Swamiji will bless everyone. Never make Him angry. It is not good. You go to a temple and are satisfied with darsan of the deity. You do not go and touch the divine murti. It is the same with Swamiji. Be disciplined.
Time flies. We have sacred duties to perform from dawn till night. Swamiji has taken the time in His extremely busy schedule and has recorded all the prayers that we have to chant daily at every step. He has recorded tirelessly for our sake. Children are forgetting our traditions. Elders are not teaching them and they themselves are ignorant and are not following the required traditions. To make us recollect these valuable traditions and to help us to follow them systematically, Swamiji has chanted all the prayers in His own divine voice. I pray to Swamiji to release the CD Velugu Bata (Path of Light) and bless all of us. With this release, Light has filled our hearts. The elders please chant all these prayers as required, and also teach your children to chant them at the appropriate times.
In this entire tour, Swamiji is urging and exhorting everyone to follow and preserve our Hindu dharma with complete and strict dedication. It is not an angry speech that He gave at the Hanuman pratishtha; it is a passionate speech to stimulate our commitment and to awaken us to our most important duty.
Velugu Bata – it reminds us of our daily duties. Remembering God at every instant is important. World should be benefited by these mantras, and prayers, Keep this tradition alive for generations to come.
The contents of this CD include prayers to chant at the time of: Bhoo sparsa (touching the earth upon waking up), bathing, while wearing kumkuma tilaka and Bhasma (vibhooti) dharana, doing Surya Namaskara, revering parents with physical or mental prostrations, prayers to beget children, prayers to gain education, prayers for a safe and successful journey, before eating food, when loss is incurred, for greeting others on auspicious occasions, while going around sacred trees, at sunrise, sunset, prayers for total health, and many more. All these can be learned in a week. Please listen to them daily and memorize them. Swamiji is our elder. He is teaching us youngsters how to lead a worthwhile life. Let us diligently follow.
