For universal welfare, with a noble resolve, from Nov 2-12 Yajnas for deities, stars, and planets were conducted here. Gayatri, Rama Taraka Homa, and Maha Mrtyunjaya homas were also conducted with Ashrama scholars and visiting priests.
Swamiji says for the benefit of the universe it is good to conduct these rituals. Sani is shifting homes. This is a transition period for the planet Saturn. Some say that it is during this month and some who follow a different almanac say that it will happen in December. Sani is going to do good things now which means an auspicious period will now begin. Swamiji has appeased all the celestial powers.
How can we pay our dues to our Sadguru? We can chant the mantras. If our Sadguru is well, it means that all the worlds will be well. All the 4 Vedas were chanted here. All the rituals were done as per Vedic injunctions. Dasamsa krama was followed. Jata Parayana took place here, which is like the matted locks of Lord Siva – it is the equivalent of chanting the Veda 3 times. In record time the chanting was completed.
Once upon a time, the deities were in a conflict and they fought. Samjnana ishti forged friendship amidst them. Today it is held. Ayushman ishti increases longevity.
All these plus Dasa Maha Danas/ten types of significant charities also took place. Including small children, all Veda, Sanskrit, and Sastra students have participated enthusiastically in the homas, enduring many hours of smoke. Special offerings are made to the fire god during the homas.
Reluctant to leave this program Swamiji went to Hyderabad to attend the Koti Deepotsava. Earlier, the Delhi program’s invitation came. He gave 10 Lakhs on the spot wishing for good success of the program there, to the scholar Sri Nagaphani Sharma who was being felicitated.
5000 kilometers Swamiji traveled in two days surprising and pleasing everyone. Swamiji is so happy and this grants great blessing to the world and especially blessings to all Datta devotees. More devotion should be shown in the future by them in following the path shown by Guru. I offer prostrations to Guru praying for compassion to be showered upon all.
