Starting from today in the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Sannidhi (Mysore Ashrama) every New Moon and Full Moon, Rgveda Krama Parayana will be performed by the Ashrama Rgveda scholars and students. It will be accompanied by Krama Archana with Vada Mala. It will continue till Sri Swamiji’s 75th Birthday Celebrations.
Hanuman learned all the Vedas and Sastras. Rigveda chants were the first words that he spoke with Rama when he first met him. Please listen to these Vedic chants. Listening once to the Krama Parayana equals listening to regular Veda Parayana three times.
In Bhimavaram Ashrama they are doing a similar Yajurveda Parayana.
Students who have commenced and completed their study of Rgveda at the Ashrama’s Veda Pathasala are participating in this great effort along with their instructor. Both scholars and students will chant. Please listen and participate in sponsoring the Krama Parayana, Krama Archana and Vada Mala Sevas also.

Speech in the evening – Mekedatu

Devotees having Guru darshan today at Mekedatu, which is the birthplace of Sadgurudeva are most fortunate. It is where his incarnation took place. Jayalakshmipuram is special as the place where Swamiji has received spiritual initiation and Mysore is special because the main Ashram is there.
These three places form a triangle. We are all very fortunate.
It is Purnima/full moon today, a particularly auspicious day.
Guntur devotees, a 100 of them are doing round the clock, 24/7 Hanuman Chaleesa Parayan here in Telugu for 40 days. Swamiji’s presence here today gives them the full benefit of their penance. Today is Valmiki Jayanti. That Swamiji is blessing them with his presence on this auspicious day is very significant. Tulasidas gave the world the Hanuman Chaleesa as per Rama’s command given to Hanuman.
Swamiji has blessed us with beautiful Telugu and Kannada versions. He has also given CDs in those languages. All participants in the chanting receive great blessings.
Mekedatu is as special to Datta devotees of Swamiji as Ayodhya is as the birthplace of Rama and Mathura as the birthplace of Krishna.
Mekedatu ashram requires much development. Please support the maintenance of the facility. Here Datta Kriya Yoga camps, free medical camps, and Annadana are conducted regularly. This is a great Sangama (confluence of three holy rivers) location.
