How special Kashi is for Shiva bhaktaas, how special Tirupathi is for Vishnu bhaktaas and how special Vaishno devi is for Devi bhaktaas, same way our Mekedatu Datta kashi is very special for Datta bhaktaas! All our tensions will vanish just by a single night stay here!
Dear devotees tell me, which items do you think may not be useful on a daily purpose but still do we wish to keep them at home always?
Different answers from different devotees came out but nothing was really convincing to Sri Swamiji.
Finally some devotee said umbrella and that answer managed to please Sri Swamiji! Sri Swamiji also agreed with a devotee who said slippers as his answer!
Well in both the cases we may not use them every minute but we need them and keep them always! One protects the head and the others protect the legs! Always keep your feet clean to remain healthy! That is the reason why we do Paada seva to Sadguru and other elders!
It is most gratifying for anybody to see the beautiful curvatures of Lord Krishna’s neck, waist and the legs, in His wonderful standing posture! If one can keep his legs, heart and the head in good health then automatically his whole body will get its strength!
Interestingly both the umbrella and slippers were invented by Sage Bharadwaja for the sake of his wife! It was said that Sage Bharadwaja one day saw his wife bringing water from the lake struggling to walk barefoot in the extremely hot sun! Then the furious sage right away prepared to curse out Sun god for troubling his wife! On the special request of other sages, his disciples and devotees he withdrew his intention of cursing Sun god! He then invented and gifted those two invaluable items to his wife! See how much importance the sage gave to his wife! And our Pujya Appaji belongs to the same Bharadwaja gotra!
Same as these two items in the house can protect you from external problems, believe me a good book in your house can give solutions to many external and internal problems as well! We should never keep a book as an ornament to our hands! As a light shows us correct path, a spiritual book protects us from the darkness of ignorance! You just open any page in Bhagawadgeeta and recite the verse from it to find solution for any problem! Geeta contains the absolute essence of Vedas and Shastras!
Our ancient seers with their super natural power of understanding the reality of life, foresaw all the possible problems to the creation in their meditations and gave ideal solutions for them as well! Today we are seeing all our brothers and sisters fighting one another for natural resources! That is most unfortunate! But as a matter of fact no one wants to feed others keeping his own children starving for food! First we should eat, save lives only then people can happily donate to others! But right now, Karnataka does not have enough water in the region and struggling to protect it’s own crop! That is the reason why they hesitate to cogitate about other regions!
Who can resolve these problems? Can artificial rains really be beneficial to us?
Vedas and Shastras firmly declare that only God can bless us with enough food, water, wealth, knowledge, security and happiness! We should seek shelter in Him! Our seers prescribed special Pujaas and Fire worships to get rid off water problem!
I was told by some university professors that ‘two hundred years ago, our farmers in India used only neem paste as fertiliser in agriculture! When they refused to use chemical fertilisers and antibiotics from them, The business men invented 62 new dangerous bacteria and polluted our crops to enforce us to buy pesticides from them! They polluted our air, polluted our food, polluted our life style’ but could not pollute our Dharma! Our’s is Sanathana Dharma!
Keep some water in a plastic bucket and also in a mud pot for a week and then check the quality of the both! Pot water becomes healthier and plastic bucket gets fungus! Dear devotees the Mud pot was also invented by Sage Bharadvaja! Today, we say we invented that and we invented this but as a matter of fact there is nothing that was really not known to our sages!
I am very happy today as we recited Bhagawadgeeta in Mekedatu Ashrama! Sri Radhakrishna sharma garu and group performed Laksha Datta homa today and we are going to witness Mahapurnahuti tomorrow morning! Under the great guidance of Sri Madduri Yajulu garu and Radha krishna garu twenty million count Datta homa deeksha is going to be accomplished soon! Now i want them to carry it forward and complete total thirty million homa count!
Gunturu raami reddy and other devotees have been singing Sadguru mantra from last one week! There is no better mantra than Sadguru naama for a devotee to meditate upon! They even incorporated Mekedatu village devotees in welcoming procession this evening! May Sadguru swaroopa Lord Srikrishna shower His choicest blessings on all the devotees!
