Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji – evening – August 5, 2015 – KSHT Frisco, TX USA
Those who wish to have a certificate as a record of participation in the 24 hour non-stop Hanuman Chalisa chanting may request it from the Guinness World Record. Give your proper name and address for a correct record. Very nominal payment. Twenty dollars only. It will come after some time taken for processing, after verification. It is not a school certificate. The procedure is more strict. If you give a nick name like Puppy, that is what the certificate will say. Then you will be sorry.
Without a profile picture and without a photo with the individual wearing a Datta vastram, no individual will be accepted as a friend of gss puttugam on facebook. Same thing with Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji facebook page. If you once come to Swamiji, He will not leave you without transforming you. He will hold on to you until He removes your miserliness.
Avoid friendships on facebook with strangers. Only known persons, family members, and close relatives may be your friends.
Sri datta app is another alternative app for app ji. Sometimes app ji, which is still being developed, may not work. At such times, if you are a member, you may send messages to sri datta app also.
For the new one-way app ji account, 100,000 recipients is the target number. It will take some time to be fully functional. It will be a free download for the users. You may select your choice of language in which to receive Sri Swamiji’s daily inspirational or spiritual messages. We plan to start with a target of ten thousand recipients. The members of the two-way app ji will have to sponsor the costs of this new application which will be called sgs posts.
The languages covered will be Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and English. English is common to all. You may opt to get one or all the languages. Sgs posts is the app that is being newly developed to be used worldwide with just one sentence messages.
If this is a success, then I will stop sending MMS.
Not one single email or letter has been received by Appaji in appreciation of MMS. This effort by 30 hard working volunteers has been going on now for four years. Not even one single devotee has bothered to acknowledge the effort that goes into preparing and sending the MMS messages daily. Not a single message of appreciation has been sent to Sri Swamiji.
Is this a contract? Is Swamiji obligated to send you these useful messages? This is a free service. 30 children work so hard. We will stop. Not even one single letter of appreciation was written so far.
Guru, like Lord Hanuman, likes to be praised. He needs to be praised and complimented. He will give more boons if praised. Hanuman has a curse given by the sages that he forgets his own greatness until he hears praises from others. Guru also is perhaps like that. The praise must come wholeheartedly, not fake words of flattery. Guru will know what is genuine praise and what is not.
You all act as if it is your birthright to receive services from Swamiji. You expect and you demand also. You complain if you stop receiving the messages. But when you receive them daily, you do not even acknowledge or comment favorably. Change your attitude.
Why should I keep tormenting the children who are preparing the videos daily, working hard at their computers? Already since 4 years they have been working, preparing the MMS videos. Nobody appreciates. Not even one. Lazy fellows. Is Swamiji your servant? I do not like to give further trouble to the computer room children, since their work is not appreciated.
I will announce this again on Saturday when more people are present. I should have done it on Guru Purnima Day itself, when there were more people in the audience. Comments are different. Not even one letter of appreciation was written to Appaji about MMS. I read daily the comments and messages written. I see the troubles of devotees through them. Through the letters I can find out the problems and I bless.
One way app ji will not give you a chance to respond. You only receive. No chance for comments or messages to be sent back in response. I am still thinking about it, whether that option should be provided. No one writes about their experiences with MMS. You say now that you have had experiences. It is not good to express yourselves now, after Swamiji complained about your lack of response. You should have come forward on your own, even before Swamiji asked. You have the attitude of demanding services from Swamiji. Even you, and you, and you, who are so close to Swamiji, have not written a single letter of appreciation to Swamiji about MMS.
I have scolded you all. So I now give laddoo/sweet dessert.
This morning I went to the kitchen. They gave me Masala Dosa. Very nice. Only a small crowd was there. The group of devotees gave over one hundred thousand dollars in pledges for the Kitchen expansion project. Four times that amount is required, as per the present estimate. We need a canteen, in addition to the kitchen that daily prepares regular routine food of rice and other items that are being served. We need Vada, Dosa, Idli etc. For the regular temple visitors. We now have a good cook. I tested his talent. I first spoke with him. He promised to stay.
Many people make such promises saying they will give their lives for Swamiji, but they take life instead.
You give to the best of your ability.
A part of this new kitchen will also be used for the daily preparation under strict conditions, of Naivedyam to be offered to all the deities here at the temple. This is a very sacred facility. It satisfies the hunger of the gods also, in addition to providing Annadanam to the temple visitors. The new facility will be called: Sri Jayalakshmi Mata Hall.
In Mysore ashrama, even before the Datta Temple was consecrated, first the Annapurna Mandiram for Annadanam was constructed.
Give promise now. Slowly send. You have six months time. Address your checks to KSHT.
Mail them to: KSHT, 12030 Independence Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75035, United States Telephone: +1 866-996-6767
In the memo, write: Kitchen Expansion Project.
Sri Guru Datta
