You have been observing for so many years, the Sri Chakra Puja. Some people understand. Some people don’t understand. Some flowers, some water, and lastly some harati. Enough. What is this? What is the meaning of this Sri Chakra Archana? And this Sri Peetha or Datta Peetham. This belongs to the ancestors, the lineage of gurus. Some murtis. This is all the mixing of karma and bhakti. Bhakti is devotion. Karma is necessary to do some observances, some procedures. Because our body is a Karma body.
We took birth with so many different kinds of sorrows. Lastly we took the human birth. God gave so many different ways for obtaining salvation and happiness. We call it Moksha. Some people observing karma theory; some follow only jnana theory, some like only devotion, some only offer service to needy persons. These types of different subjects, different kind of routes He made, God has given to human beings. The first one is Karma theory. We all took birth in the Karma theory. We have so many desires. If those desires have to be fulfilled, we have to take so many births. We cannot escape. We are asking daily some desires from God. Some are hundred years’ desires, not temporary desires. So God will fulfill those desires.

If you pray to God, do it with no desire. People do puja asking for boons. Different kinds of desires. Not possible to fulfill in 2-3 births. Thousands of births are required. Whose fault is it that you have to take so many births? That is why without desire you must do good service. Then you get moksha and happiness. Even with a little desire if you do, then that seva is not good. It is not tasty food. You do meditation and lastly ask for desires. You do Puja and lastly ask desires. Do human service and then you ask recognition, fame and name. Nobody recognized my service. So many people asking how to get moksha. Without desire if you do service, you get moksha definitely. You are demanding, like a business, when you do puja, meditation or service. I will do this Swami. You do this for me. He is eternal. He knows everything. He has everything. He is not satisfied with your small coconut or bananas. He had created the bananas and coconuts and the flowers we offer him. He created them all, not you. You have nothing. Who gave color and fragrance to flowers, who gave them their beauty? Only He is capable of giving. We give water. Who created the water? He has created the water. We offer water, abhishekam, and ask for boon. Like business. That is why it is very important to follow the karma theory. What you do, do without desire, temple service, or guru service, everything as Samarpana/offering, with complete surrender. Some people only talk of surrender but have thousands of desires. What is the meaning of surrender? Without a second thought, that is surrender. So many thoughts, so many illegal thoughts. That is not devotion. Your Datta, Sadguru, Hanuman do not like.
Be humble. Like a child. Any big pundit, with wealth or influence, does not matter. Do humble service. That is the special meaning of puja. Each time Swamiji is doing some different kind of things. Puja is like science. It has meaning. Puja time we are performing, chanting different mantras, calling Lord Vishnu, Rudra, with Namaka, Chamaka, Sri Sukta, calling Jaganmata, the Mother Goddess, and with some Upanishads we are calling brahma. At the beginning of puja, we ring the bell, we give welcome to my dear Hanumanta, Vishnu, Brahma. After that we offer abhishekam with mantras. They are not small small stones. Sri Chakra and stones are all alive. Only one and a half inch high. Not even that also. There are some 75% of one inch and invisible. We are all householders. We must do puja only to murtis of this dimension. Not more than this. Wherever and whichever God you want, it must fit within the fist. Not larger than that.
This size only between the two fists. Do not keep taller murtis. So many houses they keep big murtis. No puja, no mantra. There is some energy there in the murti. It is not decoration. It gives problems. If you have decoration murtis, keep them separate. In meditation room, keep only small murtis. More than that if you keep and do not offer puja, there will be problems. Only one pair of Guru Padukas per one couple. One child one padukas. Not more. I will explain later what is Saligrama, why Swamiji offers herbal water abhishekam, why and what naivedyam, different haratis. Not decoration. Not drama. It looks like small child playing.
You Trinidadians are very lucky people. You saw detailed puja, heard such mantras, Purusha Sukta, Sri Sukta and Upanishads. Pundits know only karma procedures. These Rudram and others it takes eight years to learn for these children. For a big Yajna we need this kind of mantras. Not just karma procedures. We need pundits. Varun also learned for eight years. They learned mantras from the age of seven or eight until twenty-eight years.
I am very happy. We are following karma theory. We follow procedures in consecration of the temples for Satyanarayana and Rama Parivar. One day late, no flights available for two days. That is why Swamiji took Charter flight to Houston and also to Trinidad. Somebody gave Swamiji because he is going for a good cause. Swamiji wanted to be with His devotees in Houston for one night. Then from Miami, regular flight. Dallas flight is canceled I know. I came that is why one day before, only for you. I can sit in Mysuru which is like Vaikuntha, why I travel so much, with so much problem? I need. That is why I came. Hanumanta is calling me. In the whole world, this 85 ft. Hanumanta in Trinidad, everyone is talking about. Now Badrinath sang about Trinidad, Hanumanta and the glory of Swamiji. His composition. Very good.

On Sunday we have the Hanuman Chalisa Maha Yajna. I think now Hanuman Chalisa is world famous. Last time in Andhra Pradesh we gathered nearly 250,000 people. The complete village was closed. 6000 policemen and 4000 volunteers, 400 cooks. I think Rama also came that time. I don’t know. Chanted 27 times. Largest gathering for chanting. Got the Guinness World Record. Everyone chanting, even auto rickshaw people. Lot of preparation. We gave training in every village for chanting. 65 acres used for tent. It took ten hours to clear the grounds. It is like a dream. Second time in Dallas, day and night chanting. 24 hours chanting with 582 people, continuous chanting. Even children sitting only, no bathroom. That also set a Guinness World Record. Largest healing session was held in Sydney Opera House, in Australia. Normally there they do not allow such an Indian concert. First time they gave for Swamiji’s healing concert. That also set a Guinness World Record. In California, largest Yoga Breathing Session. Also set a Guinness World Record. We do not want to miss this Sadguru history. You must feel proud. You must do something. You must use. Everyone must think beforehand. After the program to think of it is of no use.
