As a Yati (Saint) once said, time is one of Paramātma’s forms. In this passage of time, we celebrate many important festivals like Sri Sadguru’s birthday celebrations, Shivaratri, Navaratri, Srirama Navami and Sri Datta Jayanti. On these very important days, we invoke God and perform special worship. Similarly, even though the entire body is God’s form, some parts like eyes, head and heart are considered more important.
In this passage of time yesterday was a very special day when Sri Swamiji blessed this soul. In His speech Sri Swamiji said He has three faces, but I see Sri Swamiji with five faces. One face is looking upward to uplift us and take us to higher worlds. It is Sri Swamiji’s sankalpa to be my charioteer and guide me on this divine path of ātma gñāna siddhi, and simultaneously get a few things done through me. It is Sri Swamiji’s sankalpa and His energy, even the energy bestowed on me is His energy. I pray to Sri Swamiji to bless me and all of you so that you all walk along with me. I offer my prostrations at Sri Swamiji’s lotus feet.
Sometimes, in some situations, it is very difficult to speak. I am facing such a situation now. I have never spoken so many words in His presence. Whatever had to be conveyed has already been conveyed by Sri Swamiji. Even a brief speech of Sri Swamiji’s makes us understand things clearly. May righteousness always abound in this Datta Peetham, and may all those who come here always be inspired to walk the path of dharma. May the Grace and blessings of Sri Kālāgni Śamana Datta Swami be upon all the devotees and may they all be blessed with health, wealth and prosperity.
Jaya Guru Datta.
