Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji in the morning during Deeksha Yajna – Ugadi & Rama Navami festivities – April 11, 2024 – Dundigal Ashrama, Hyderabad
So far we witnessed the Deeksha Yajna. Devatas and Gandharvas are invoked/welcomed. 333 Crore Devatas are all gathered here and their energy falls on the temple towers, the temples, etc. When their gaze falls on these structures, the structures are energized. Yajnas are done to remove any small flaws there might be.
This can be called “Jeernoddhara” rather than a new temple ritual. Witnessing this ritual removes the sins of many lifetimes. There are many mantras and scriptures that talk about this. All of this, including the Yantra architecture, is based on science. The energy rays fall on the temple tower and the summit and then the flag. From there, it descends like electricity and enters the Moorti. We should always keep inquiring within ourselves about the Atma Chaitanya. We should keep reminding ourselves: I am Ganapati, I am Datta, I am Chaitanya (consciousness). It does not matter which Devata you think about. Finally, in the Gita, Krishna Paramatma says to abandon all Dharmas and seek refuge with the Guru.
The Muhurtam for consecration is the only one this year, that is why this temple is being rebuilt for re-consecration now. God already chooses who He wants participating in this. God incites the desire in their hearts to support this. He creates the noble Sankalpa in their heart and shows them the way to do the charity and gives them the good heart to give to the Lord. He will not reveal this to everyone, only to a chosen few. Surprisingly, He only reveals this to those who do not have much.
Such donors have received Deeksha Vastra today. Those partaking in the Yajna too have received Deeksha Vastra and Kankana. Wear the Kankana for 5 days. Observe Brahmacharya for 5 days. Be strict with diet and other habits.
Jeernoddhārana is done when fire damages the Kshetra. It is also done when the place drowns in water. Whenever calamities such as earthquake strike too, this is done. Disasters occur due to the five elements whether manmade or natural. Since we have a body, we cannot reject temples, Sadguru, Seva, etc., and get complacent saying Jnana alone is enough. Since we have a body, we see God in the form of a Moorti.
The Lord came as Rama, Krishna, Vamana, Matsya, Narasimha and Datta to uplift others. All incarnations left after their mission was done, but Datta never left. Hanuman too did not leave. Shiva does not incarnate, so He is always there. Mother Goddess is always present, so we are consecrating Her as well. We are consecrating Ganapati to remove all obstacles. This year, there is great influence of Subramanya Swamy, so we will establish Subramanya Swamy as soon as possible in the Naga Devata shrine. This year, have Darshana of Subramanya Swamy as often as possible each week.
Hanuman is the one who will help this very difficult year. Offer Poornaphala and pray for your wishes. I saw the wonderful Datta Moorti today. He seems as if He emerged on His own. The Patala Anjaneya Swamy is indescribable. Having His Darshana everyday removes all sins.
All those sitting here should participate in Nitya Puja. Those who do so are very dear to Me. This is the same as Shashvata Seva. When Swamiji built the 16 Kshetras, people would travel to the various Kshetras, and sign up for Shashvata Sevas there.
Swamiji also made the Sankalpa to do Annadana here everyday. Every day, after offering Naivedya in the afternoon, you can do Annadana.
Whenever you are able to, bring Datta Bhiksha from home. It is wrong to come to the Lord with empty hands. I will look at how well this place is maintained. The better it looks, the more often I will visit.
You are all clapping your hands. But show that enthusiasm in subscribing for the Shashvata Sevas. Do not just clap and then stop there. Do Seva, as much as you can. I know what you do and don’t, I know what you have and have not. I have eyes and ears everywhere.
Swamiji knows everything, no need to tell Him at all. When you stand in front of Me, I see everything like a photo. I don’t reveal that to you.
During the Hakka-Bukka reign, only the kings built the temples and it all got destroyed by invaders. That is not how it should be done. We should involve as many people as possible. Ramadas got a Rama temple built. He begged for alms from people and with that money built the temple. It still looks like new. Such large temples look so wonderful. Offer as much seva as possible. What will we take with us when we leave the planet?
