Speeches of HH Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji, September 19, 2013
Concluding speech of 10th Chaturmasya Vrata Deeksha – Helapuri Sri Nam Datta Natha Kshetram, Eluru
Jaya guru datta.
Today is Bhadrapada Pournami – fullmoon day of the Lunar Month of Bhadrapada. The Chaturmasya Vrata deeksha concludes today. Every good thing has an ending too. The moment anything starts – the ending is also predetermind. This is the begining of another good thing. The One That has neither a begining nor an end, is Guru Krupa. The One Who has no begining or end is Lord Almighty. Lord Datta is an embodiment of Dharma.
Swamy Vasudevananda Saraswathi has prompted me to undertake Chaturmasya Vrata deeksha at Nam Datta natha Kshetram – Eluru. Poojya Sadgurudeva – Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji is doing enormous service to man kind, treading the path of Lord Dattatreya. The derivatives of this Chaturmasya – I am dedicating them to the welfare of mankind. I could attain two Siddhis during this Chaturmasya, but I should not reveal them.
Sweet are the fruits of Penance. All of us should take an oath to continue the sadhana that we are into during these 60 days. Lets us not pressurise Sadguru to fulfill our materialistic desires. This is a powerful kshetra. Please make the best use of this kshetra and its energy.
I am very satisfied with the devotion, love and affection shown by all of you. Practice yoga. That does good to you all. Follow and practice dharma. It gives everything. Lord datta is compassion personified. Worship and serve Lord Datta, Poojya Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji.
I feel like telling and sharing more and more things with you all but I have several other acts to do. So I will be proceeding to Badampudo, Bhimavaram, Akiveedu, kaikaluru – before reaching Tirumala – the abode of Lord Balaji. Then I will have darshan of Lord Adi Narayana Swamy at Nagalapuram and another Shiv kshetra before reaching Mysore. See you all soon for Navaratri.
Jaya Guru Datta
Speech at Bhimavaram Ashrama
Jaya guru datta.
As you all know we have many ashramas around Eluru. Almost all these ashramas prayed sri swamiji to bless them with the vishwaroopa vijaya yatra – also known as Seemollanghana. I did not promise to anybody as i was awaiting Lord Datta’s instruction. As Lord Datta ordained – I am here with you all today. The ongoing krama parayana maha yagnam is unique in many ways and bhimavaram is really blessed to get it going here. All the scholors participating in this parayana are really erudite and highly qualified. The entire universe is bound by the command of vedamatha.
Poojya Sadgurudeva has a great interest in vedas. He Himself is veda purusha. Not only Vedas but also veda scholors are very dear to Sri Swamiji. You will all be surprised to know that Sadgurudeva established a veda pathashala in Mysore Ashrama in the days when running the ashram itself was getting difficult. Still He chose to run the school. He is the only one who has been protecting, promoting and propogating vedas in the properway. For long He has been conducting examinations in Various branches of vedas to the students from all across the country. He takes His time out to attend functions involving vedic rituals. Also – irrespective of His Busy schedules – He always takes time out to interact, speak to and listen to the Vedic Scholors who visit Him and His Ashramas.
The veda that is available to us today is only 1%. The rest 99% is yet to be made available to us. Sri swamiji has been trying hard to protect, promote and propogate vedas and vedic rituals. Those who promote vedas and or participate in vedic rituals will always be bestowed with health wealth and prosperity. I advise all of you to participate in this maha yagnam and see that it us completed succesfully. If you all do this – I hope Poojya Sri Sadgurudeva – Appaji – may bless this maha yagnam sooner than later. Krama parayana – dearer to Mother Goddess is also dearer to Parama Shiva. Your bhakthi and this maha yagnam have brought me here. Now its time for all of us to listen to the parayana of viswaroopa sandarshana yoga from bhagavadgita.
Jaya Guru Datta.
