“Tears are tossed away by the true Teacher! The Teacher shows the way and gives happiness through knowledge. Following in the Teachers’ footsteps and traveling in the path shown by the Teachers is the proper way to worship their divine lotus feet. Service to society is service to Guru. Following the spiritual path is service to the Teacher. No one can survive without a Teacher in this world, starting with the teachings received from one’s Mother and Father. We all have given much trouble to our teachers since childhood in one manner or another. Join your palms before the Teacher to join your soul with the Guru’s soul. Always remember the Teacher with respect, reverence, and gratitude. Never for a moment forget the grace showered upon you by your Guru or any Teacher in any field that has helped you in anyway throughout your life! All that occurs in this world is by the Will of the Teacher, the Supreme Guru, whose soul is one with your own soul. Happy Teacher’s Day!” – Sri Bala Swamiji
