Mick (Starek) wants to explain bad radiation, man-made radiation. Now you know about Japan. Ten years ago a nuclear explosion occurred in Russia. Diseases are caused by radiation. Research is done by scientists. Many had many years of association with Swamiji. Swamiji is giving answers about electricity, crystals, music, sounds, and radiation. Nowadays we suffer from the latest danger. Japan is attacked by radiation. How to protect from radiation? How to fight the danger of man-made minerals?
The ancient puranas have some answers. The Hindu system says, use greenery, flowers, different kinds of vegetables, milk. It tells how different types of grass given to cows produces different types of milk. Hindus know how to protect against radiation. Scientists know some.
Telephones (cell phones, esp.), microwaves, cars are also full of radiations. So many people suffer from cancer. There are no proper medicines. Still people believe in medicines, medicines, medicines, medicines. Only temporary. No permanent solution. How to fight? How to protect?

Fukushima, Japan disaster where the Nuclear Reactors began leaking radio-active material occurred 4 months ago. Japan is not addressing the issue of radioactive fallout and radiation danger adequately. What the Russians did after Chernobyl ten years ago, Japan is not doing. People think that the problems in Japan have been resolved. It is not true. The situation is potentially very devastating. Fallout, hot radioactive particles come down with rain. The skin is a sponge. The west coast is getting hit the hardest. Radiation gets concentrated in dairy products and fish. Organic food is equally infected. The soil is getting contaminated.
How to protect oneself? De-contaminate with minerals such as potassium iodide, potassium silicate, apple pectin. On an airplane wear a filter mask to filter out alpha and beta particles. Take vitamins C and D. Use dairy alternatives. Soak vegetables in water solution of a certain mineral (I did not get the name) to de-toxify.
Mick offered to pass out a fact sheet giving further details and explanations to help interested devotees. Dr. V. V. Prakasa Rao commented that cow dung was found effective after Chernobyl accident to drastically reduce radiation levels).

(The cake looked like the Raft used in the Saptarshi Sarovara at Mysore Ashrama during Datta Jayanti and other festivals. Sadguru Seva double CD was released, prepared by Sri Vamshi Krishna Ghanapathi. The first LP record of Sri Swamiji recorded in New York on a Sunday at the National Lampoon Recording Studio with Radha Krishna (Swami Manasa Datta) and Arokya Swami was presented to Sri Swamiji by Ramana. A few rare copies of the LP record were gifted by Sri Swamiji to major patrons of JDRC. Padma presented 25 trees to Sri Swamiji to replace some of the trees in the ashram at DRC that had to be removed due to new construction).

Happy Birthday, DRC. My lovely child, this DRC. This land is Datta land, as Nancy (Kalyani) has already informed you. Meditation Land. Vibrations Land. All Religions Land. All religions in one place. In our Hindu system also, Siva is Bindu, a point. No form. Formless. Only a point. If you have any sankalpa in your mind, it takes a form. But Siva is nirvikalpa, niraakaara . He is invisible and visible also. Vedanta says you are also God. Advaita siddhaanta (philosophy). Everywhere that energy is flowing. Shakti. Mother Goddess. Some people call it Chaitanya. Some people call it Hamsa. Some people call it Parama Hamsa. Some people call it Nada (sounds), Jyoti (lights). It is feelings. It is Creation. So many different aspects, all in one. Close your eyes without thinking of any deity.
Don’t call it an idol. An idol is only a stone. Call it a Murthi, a swaroopa (form), or address it by a name, Vishnu, Siva, or Jesus. An idol is nothing. An idol is only a decoration. Sculptors use their skill to make an idol. You must change your thinking. In the Bhakti Mala magazine Swamiji has explained many times that an idol is only a work of art, a decoration. You can describe a temple saying that it has good idols, good art. But when you enter the shrine, and see the important, main deity, Vishnu, Siva, Bhagavati (Mother Goddess), Jesus, or Buddha, it is not an idol. It is the ‘murti’, the form of God.
Shankara Bhagavatpada (AdiShankara) says that it is better the adhyatimic (spiritual) way. Without point, without form, without sound. Sound automatically creates, like the Sun, who automatically creates Light. He is ‘svayam prakaasha’(self-illuminating). It is his own gas. His own light. He is akshaya (non-expendable). Eternal. Always giving, giving, giving, giving.
So many of my dear devotees, my friends and relatives want me to sit in only one place. They want rest for Swamiji. If I sit for one day, I go mad. So many devotees I am seeing in inner vision. Some people are crying, upset, praying. I am hearing through inner ear. After one hour, they say, ‘Swamiji, please excuse me.” In mind I listen. Not necessary physical (presence). Only for association – darshanam (seeing Swamiji), sambhaashanam (conversing with Swamiji), sparshanam (touching or being touched by Swamiji). It is not ordinary touching. Don’t think like that. Sparshanam is Shakti paatam (spiritual energy transmission).
Sometimes a music or dance program is going on, or some announcements, or explanation (by others). Swamiji is sitting still for one and a half to two hours. Swamiji is doing Shakti Paatam to you. Some devotees are not listening to the music, not watching the dance. Only seeing Swamiji, without even blinking their eyelids. Direct Shakti paatam is going on then. During Sivaratri, some devotees keep their eyes open, while they are fast asleep. That is an art. When you look only at Swamiji, for so many hours, not only at his eyes, any part of his body, or even his chair, Shakti Paatam is happening.
Radiation energy is flowing towards you from Swamiji. From your side, confusion radiation is coming. So bad. Man-made radiation from your body, unknowingly (without your knowledge) Swamiji is pulling out of you. Pulling it away. No hard work (for you). Only seeing Swamiji. Only listening to words. Language does not matter. If you don’t understand. It does not matter. Any language, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi language. It doesn’t matter. Don’t bother. The sounds themselves heal. The seven notes of music automatically heal. If others are laughing, they are happy. You also laugh. The touching, the seeing, the talking sounds are all going inside, inside, inside, inside (you). Touching also is prasadam. Prasadam also is energy. Don’t waste. Small flower prasadam is also energy. No problem if some devotee gets a diamond. Diamond you cannot eat. A small flower also gives Shakti Paatam.
Kalyani (Nancy Murray) said that we all have to ask ouselves, “Why have we come here?”
First time I saw the three rocks, Vishnu, Siva, Brahma rocks, I was very happy. First day vibrations. Once again Happy Birthday DRC!
Regular devotees, Canada devotees are also attending. They like very much. New Jersey also. Some devotees driving 12-18 hours to come here out of love for Swamiji.
Swamiji is there in Lord Siva Linga. Everywhere Swamiji is there. He gave particular special yantra energy. The three rocks, go and touch. Feel and heal. Swamiji placed his fingers (the finger shapes were painted on the rock). You saw? Tell others. Finger friends to Datta. Like passport. 1-5 finger markings. Don’t call it rock. That is Datta.
This is your ashram, in this forest. You are all helping like a bank. Whatever you have, you send. It is good for you. May you get blessing, healing. Make a group. Come frequently, on weekends, bi-weekly, monthly, once in two months. I tell everyone, help however you can. Electricity, maintenance. Give your email address. New members, please join. This is also your child, your friend. We need Datta Seva. Datta is happy with even a small seva. He gives back invisibly, something, something, something. Something energy, miracles.
I am very happy with those who are helping this ashram – Meera, Ramana, John, Padma, Cindy, Rick. They feel that this is their own family member. We must not leave. We must also help. The only captain is Datta. We are sitting. Some in first class, some in second class. Don’t worry. This is one big samsara ocean of confusion. Our journey, we don’t know. We have no compass. Only the captain knows. He has the compass.
You all have the blessings of Datta Bhagawan. Marathi people, many Datta devotees there, and Kannada people, all have blessings. Come frequently. It is good for you. I give special blessings on this auspicious occasion.
