Gist of message of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji – April 29, 2012 – Mysore
Jaya Guru Datta
One should take care of oneself and not be a burden on others. It is wrong to leave dirty dishes and dirty clothes for wife or mother to pick up and wash, to eat your fill and then to complain and criticize the cooking and the food, to have others serve you and even scrub your back. Sri Rama found his own food, he took care of himself, although he was fit to be an emperor with divine attributes and virtues. One should clean up after oneself and never be lazy. One should not ill treat a wife or mother. Women should be respected and honored. Those who do not do so are the worst sinners.
