The video team has prepared a compilation of all the recent Hanuman consecrations, big ones and small ones. Hanuman has been consecrated in almost all the main Datta temples, such as the sixteen Datta temples, the nine navanatha temples and the paduka kshetrams all over the world. The 85 foot Hanuman in Trinidad was consecrated in 2003. Clips of that superb event are also shown in this collection. Swamiji was dancing with joy, like Ganapathi.
All the fortunate devotees have attended and witnessed today’s consecration of Karyasiddhi Hanuman in all His nine forms. They and their families are all blessed. It is an unforgettable sight and experience. Those who could have come, who had all the facilities to come, and yet did not come are very unfortunate to have missed it. Many faced obstacles, ego/insult problems, family problems, money problems, health problems, transportation problem and such. These are called the Ashta Daridras, the eight types of poverty or misfortunes. Some people overcame all those and still came. They are very fortunate. Some people gave in to the circumstances and stayed back. They are unfortunate. What is the use of regretting later? This day will not come back. The only way to win Swamiji’s grace and get close to him is through devotion. Ego is a big obstacle. One must remember that money, brains, and talents are all God-given.
This is a historical day; this event will be recorded in golden letters in our history. To have darshan of Hanuman, who is so huge that He encompasses all three words, the underground , earth and the sky, even Sita, Rama and Lakshmana and all the gods had to climb up his tail with His permission to come up and see His face and have darshan and offer obeisance. Hanuman was instrumental in the killing of the three Ravanas, Mairavana in Patala, Dasakantha (ten-headed Ravana) on earth, and the Shatakantha Ravana(100 headed Ravana) in the sky.
Much publicity was given for this wonderful consecration on YouTube, Vimeo and other public channels. Many people have seen the live webcast for so many different countries. So much of chanting took place of the Shatashloki Ramayana and the Hanuman Mantra . In 76 countries, believers and non-believers have chanted. The powerful vibrations of all that chanting has given so much power to this Hanuman. That is what has made it possible to have today’s Prana Pratishtha. So many millions have chanted, even from communist countries.
Some devotees asked for a picture of Hanuman as a married man, in the company of Suvarchala. Suvarchala represents the radiance of the Sun that is only visible to Hanuman and is ever with Him. It is not right to picture her as a woman and as Hanuman’s spouse. Some people will not listen and will prepare such pictures out of ignorance. It is wrong to think of her as a woman.
Swamiji was not going to come for bhajans this evening. But so many devotees are waiting. So I came. The Mysore people have decorated this mantapam very beautifully. I am very happy.
