“Sri Ganeshaya namaha. Sri Saraswatyai namaha. Sripada vallabha Nrsimha Saraswati Sri Guru Dattatreyaya Namaha.
You thought that somehow Swamiji will come to give darshan. You need that kind of faith. The world runs on such strong faith. I have told you before that if you pray hard, then I will definitely appear before you. In books you have written your experiences of such happenings. Many have recounted in their thousands of their experiences, how Swamiji appears in dreams, how he rescues devotees under many different situations. I wish that you all should be well. It is your faith that cures. When difficulties come, it is natural for people all over the world, all through the ages, to find any type of cure from any type of resource, from herbs, medicines, mantras, prayers, holy men and so on. People perform marriages in the presence of God. Sometimes things may go awry. But can you blame the venue, the caterers, the priest, or the musicians for our misfortune? They all wish us well, although they are practicing their professions for their livelihood.
My aunt Venkamma, an herbal physician, used to give the same root of the tummi plant for headache and stomach ache. One day I questioned her how this system works. At first she told me not to act smart. I asked her again after sometime. She explained that it is mainly because of their faith that the root heals. If you send it to the lab, it may show no healing properties at all.
Faith is very important. Some celestials, who had consumed amrita, the nectar of immortality, also perished, only because of their lack of faith.
You know that Swamiji went to Ayodhya, to the Sarayu river, with firm faith that he would complete the Shatashloki Ramayana Yajna as planned. You also know that the power of the name of Rama is enormous. The video was viewed crores of times. The names of those who gave their sponsorship were put on the cloth and it was offered to the river. Some small incidents occurred, such as the boatman falling overboard, and so on. But, overall, the program went very well. All the events took place as planned.
Finally Swamiji arrived in Delhi. He wanted to inaugurate the Dwaraka ashram in Delhi. He went to stay as a guest at Duggal’s house. He is a physician who works at the Gangaram Hospital. Swamiji told him to take him to the hospital to see it. Once there, he told them that he felt breathless, and requested them to perform an angiogram at once, without any other tests. It was followed by the procedure of angioplasty. A small block in the artery was found. I don’t know how long this condition has prevailed. Swamiji had endured it. Anyone who takes on a body has to go through some ups and downs. Even physicians become ill. Even the celestial physicians, the Ashwini devatas became ill, as we read in the Puranas. The body ultimately has to return to the place where it came from. But during the lifetime, we build relationships, and we perform some good actions. You are following Swamiji because of your relationship with him since many lifetimes.
Today Swamiji wanted to attend the programs in Hyderabad. But he felt a little palpitation and the doctors have firmly ordered that I should not travel. My heart is there. I am eager to see the new temples. I will definitely come. I have sent Bala Swamiji on my behalf to perform the consecration of the temples.
I have also given a recorded message for the New Year. I have sung a new song. You can tell my condition from the tone of my voice and also the eyes reveal my condition. Listen to the song repeatedly. Listen to the message. Happy New Year Nandana! It is a year of happiness.
I am always with you, in your mind, in your heart, and in your home. You know that I have more yearning to be with you, than you have, to be with me. I wanted to come. But when I move around I feel uneasy. The doctors have prescribed one month’s rest. Rajagopal, Phani, Swarna, all these doctors have restricted my movements. All the Swagatha Committee members should perform abhishekam to Lord Shiva. Also those who have donated for the construction of the temples have my blessings. You can come here to see Swamiji. When I come there, in my presence once again you must do the abhishekam.
I am always thinking about you. You always have me in your thoughts. You are ready to offer a portion of your life to me, I know. You have expressed that sentiment in a song. Please don’t do that. God will give me a long life. I will be all right.
I came back running to see Hanuman. They have begun sculpting. He is very beautiful. Please come and see for yourselves. You will see him when he is placed in the upright standing position. That is a different view. This is a different view. In the reclining position also you should see him definitely. When you come here, I will see you.
It is difficult for me to say bye to you. That is why I keep talking.
Happy New Year! May the entire nation prosper. May there be timely rainfall. May businesses flourish. May the students succeed in their studies. May everyone be healthy and prosperous. Develop a noble mind. Increase your devotion towards your guru.
