Lord Rama taught us that in all conditions we should learn to live happily. Be it climatic conditions or comfort levels. The style of living and the attitude should be balanced. Appaji is very particular about the quality of sound system/Mike. In Dattapeetham we have excellent Sound system and the volunteers who are trained to operate them and modulate them do it at their best.Hoping that the sound system will be better by next time atleast, I proceed with my speech. Appaji got used to using the best sound system which is very important for Swamiji’s programmes.The best system enhances Swamiji’s happiness to speak.
Acquire the best sound system and make the day start with ” Suprabhata CDs” of Datta Venkateswara, Sri Swamiji, Raja Rajeswari, and Jayalaskhmi Mata. The members of Amma vodi should be able to listen to! It is good to one and all. This duty of setting the whole week’s suprabhatams should be taken up by the volunteers voluntarily.
Royal Albert Hall in London is excellent. It was constructed 150 years ago. But Swamiji’s concert is the first ever the Best concert. Now a days the trend is listening to filmy Music for every occasion. Small girls are participating in reality shows and performing sexy dances which are watched by most of the people. The reality shows are so stressful. They have several rounds and in every round one or the other will be eliminated due to which both the parents and the child are awe stricken and tensed. Even if some children are inclined towards bhajans the parents are forcing them to do otherwise. What is there in film songs?? There is no proper language, no proper words, no clarity and yet people are crazy. What does “Kolaveri” word mean?? People are mad of this song. They are looking at only commercial aspect and income but not at name or fame. People within no time download such songs but not a “Hanuman Dandakam”, which is full of praise for Lord Hanuman.
At times I find little change in the programmes. In some movies, some preference is given for melody and classical tinge. Who ever participates in such competitions spend sleepless and hungry nights with tension. There are many actors and actresses who run behind money, act in movies, spend all the money for luxuries and become paupers. The parents are spending lot of money for the reality shows towards dresses and cheap popularity.
Swamiji recorded 400 Ragas which are all wonderful, rare and precious.
Generally we say that we have to control sad feelings but we have to indeed control happiness. Infact sad state is beneficial for us since it makes us think of God more and more taking us closer to God.
The people in other countries are learning Veena and Mridangam as well as Bharata natyam or Kuchi pudi.. The number of fine arts teachers is increasing in other countries. Our children are going in a wrong way. You may feel for what I say. But those who are listening to my words become sinners and not me. You take my sins as always I had been taking your sins. If you properly understand my words in a right sense, you will get Punyam and if not you will not get punyam.
Now a days people are very busy. They just get up, have coffe, bath and after having break fast they are rushing to offices. No prayer. No lighting of the lamp. If they are questioned they say that they have a headache which is not a hindrance to eating, drinking etc. We are all in Datta Sampradayam. [ Culture of Lord datta] Do prayer and in the evening atleast listen to Kagada Arati even if you cannot sing. Listen to them by downloading from Flip kart. Good Music, Good Mantras are good for you, your neighbors and all people around. If you pray regularly and then come to Swamiji, it will be easy for Swamiji to reduce your difficulties and sorrow as you look like you are sterilized. When you get a fever or a cold, you have to take antibiotics which eradicate the infection. But your energy is totally drained out. To get back that energy, you need only your sadguru’s blessings. It is Sadguru who is stretching our lives. This is a study made by the Europeans. They sincerely practice whatever Swamiji preaches and they benefit immediately. That is why Swamiji is very careful in guiding them.
You might have missed Sri Swamiji but I was very much here among you all. On the other hand Swamiji recorded 36 CDs making use of the situation.
