Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji – London- February 10, 2013
Some devotees are thinking Swamiji is going to Norway for sightseeing. That’s not the purpose of my visit; there is a specific reason. Once upon a time Swamiji celebrated ratha sapthami in Tonga. This year Swamiji is going this way to his forefathers. They were all sun worshipers. Its not possible to completely explain their miracles. Februrary 17th is Ratha Sapthatmi, it has importance in my life. Swamiji is going for about 2-3 days to pray to sun god. Then we will be back in mysore.
Last week there was a good program – 40th day mandala Abhishekam in mysore. After that, there was discourse for a TV channels. Swamiji sat in 2-3 hours in the same place, then I got some infection. Some cold, I can’t speak. I’m managing now but there is an infection in my body. I wanted to cancel the program. If i cancel many times, the organizer might be frustrated. Well, he is a happy man! I made him promise that Swamiji will sit in a house and look at the sun. They agreed and made arrangements. Return journey, I am going directly to mysore because there are many recordings.
You are very lucky, close to ratha sapthami and sivarathri days, I’m here. Maybe you can come there for Sivarathri. Whatever wishes or pains you have, I bless you. You can pray to Lord Anjaneya. There were lots of miracles during that installation. I’m happy that many from london visited. Maybe you’ll visit again soon. First time in south India, there is a 40 feet monolith stone.
Nowadays Swamiji is researching about birds. It is not an easy task – the colors, zodiac signs along with music with several varieties of parrots. Last time we took a picture. The idol looked like a Garuda (eagle). I can’t explain the miracle. Maybe by Sivarathi you willl get an english book explaining Swamiji’s connection with birds.
