Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji – June 18, 2013 – Nada Mantapam Mysore
The MMS program has concluded. It has been a week since the last MMS was sent. Many people are not comfortable with the decision of stopping of MMS. Not only Datta devotees but also Shiva devotees, Vishnu devotees, Christian devotees, Islamic devotees, Japanese devotees, Korean devotees complained and prayed not to stop the MMS and continue it. I do not like the term non-devotee. The entire creation is Sri Swamiji’s relative. Just to identify yourself or give yourself an address, you may say devotees otherwise you must not say devotees and non-devotees. Sri Swamiji needs all. Just one glance of Sri Swamiji is enough. All the living beings that are born on this earth during my incarnation are my relatives. It does not make any difference if they did not see me. I am seeing all. There are no demarcations made regarding I want them & I do not want them.
Sri Swamiji made an announcement on the site of www.puttugam.com that all those who can see through their eyes, who can hear through their ears, all who have intellect, who possess at least tiny bit of computer knowledge, those who don’t have computer knowledge even if their children have computer it is ok, irrespective of mode of usage for viewing of MMS laptops, I pad, mobile phones, all should register themselves on Puttugam site. Those who register will receive the MMS in continuation. Irrespective of being members or non-members or paid members or non-paid members, if registered, they will receive the MMS. In all 36,000 people registered. 16,000 people have registered online for the MMS.
What is registration? Just submitting your email id is registration. Anyone who have not yet registered, go and register soon. There is nothing wrong in getting registered. Keep a separate email account for the MMS. Do not make any correspondence to another other subject using this email. Keep a password that can be easily remembered. The password can be selected based on your children’s name or your first name or one name from Ganapathi or Datta ashtottra. Do not keep “Swamiji” as password as it is common practice to many. Even if you do it, add some unique number to it. Note down the password so that you do not forget it. The only complaint we get is: “I lost my password.” We do not get any other complaints. No problem, you can register with a new mail id. Let the old mail id be lost. Take you children’s help. Do not give reason that you are not acquainted to computers. Forgetting password is not a valid reason. The reason I am telling all this is because if you want MMS later, nobody will give it to you.
You will get MMS in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English. The MMS in English are not the translation of MMS’s in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. MMS in English and MMS in other languages are different. English MMS is posted on daily basis, but along with English MMS the MMS in different languages will also be posted. Your English will also improve. MMS are composed in small lines. I have written some and some I got it done with Sri Bala Swamiji, Hira, Prasad, and Pramod etc. They have taken the lines from my speeches and discourses e.g. Life history, God Word etc. This in not their own creation. There may or may not be grammar mistakes. Do not bother about it. This is my English. Keep your mouth shut and study. Do not complain. Even if you do, it will not reach me. Since you know grammar, spelling mistakes and correct word to be substituted, you correct if for yourself. I don’t like this.
You must not treat Guru like this. When I say it, it is as Veda’s order. The imperfect grammar, when said by Sri Swamiji, becomes perfect grammar. No matter who composes the MMS. When I have okayed them, then it becomes my writing or order. Hence it should be understood as Brahma’s (the creator’s) writing or command. That is the end of it. Anyone who catches mistakes with my English, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil will have a straight passage to dreaded hell. I will book your emails to both heaven and hell. You choose what you want. If you say, the MMS is good in both content and language, then you go to Vaikuntha the abode of Vishnu, and the other option will take you to hell. There are accommodation problems in Vaikuntha, but no such problem in Hell. The lord of death, Yama has access to unlimited land and can accommodate any number of beings.
So be careful! Be careful! Be careful!
Do you know grammar runs behind Sri Swamiji’s sentences? It will accommodate in Sri Swamiji’s sentences happily, as they are. Once I sang a bhajan in Germany taking half composition of mine and half of Kuppa Krishnamurthy. The line of the bhajan was “Rama Hare Shoure Sthapaya Maam TAVA Teere”. While singing this composition I sang it as “Rama Hare Shoure Sthapaya Maam TANA Teere”. This album was recorded and sold in huge numbers. All the Germans liked the album. Anyhow, Germans do not understand Telugu, Kannada, or Hindi. Everybody appreciated Sri Swamiji’s voice. In India, also everything was fine. In Germany just before releasing, the album was heard once again. It is mistake once the album is ready then you should not listen to it again. The album can be heard again later when it is being corrected or rectified. Once rendered, all mouths should be closed and maintain calmness. When Sri Swamiji publishes anything on Facebook, then all of you should just keep your mouth shut and follow it. No comments should be passed. It is the order of Ganapathi. It is the order of Mother Goddess.
One must do all the necessary corrections before Sri Swamiji makes the statement. Once it is public statement, then no comments should be made. Coming back to the album, Sri Swamiji heard the album and was confused whether the term is Tava, Tana, or Tannu. I send the message across to Krishnamurthy saying that I have used Tana instead of Tava. I told Krishnamurthy that the records have been printed. Now what is to be done? Krishnamurthy answered ” Sri Swamiji,no problem, meaning will come searching to the word used by You.” these are the exact words used by Krishnamurthy. All the scholarly people sat at place and discussed the meaning of the word Tana in the context of the bhajan. They finally got a very apt meaning for the word Tana that exactly and rightly fitted into the bhajan. It is a sin to say Sri Appaji has spoken wrongly. The grammar will find its way to whatever Sri Appaji has said. Sri Swamiji is not speaking a scholarly language. Sri Swamiji is blessing you all with His words. If Sri Swamiji picks up the Ganneru flower and says it is Jasmine flower, then it is a Jasmine flower. When you saw it was Ganneru flower, but after Sri Swamiji has taken it into His hands and calling it a Jasmine flower, then it is a Jasmine flower. It is not a Ganneru flower anymore. Remember this. The question of whether it is Ganneru flower or Jasmine flower comes only when there is discussion about what flower it is. Here there is no discussion. It is Sri Swamiji’s grace and blessing. When Sri Swamiji with His manas selects an MMS for today, than it is Sri Swamiji’s order or seal. No more arguments.
In my childhood, someone asked:
“When you pronounce a Sanskrit word for the first time, you do it wrong. Then second time, within a second you are pronouncing it right. I am not able to understand.”
Sri Swamiji replied: “I am recollecting and remembering it. Finally, whatever it is, it cannot be said wrong”.
The email in Facebook or Sgs birds or Dattapeetham is a blessing for you. It is your personal thing. So many people have written their experiences to Sri Swamiji saying that it was the personal message to them on that day. Sri Swamiji has answered my difficulties in the form of MMS. Sri Swamiji has seen the names of those who have participated the quiz competition. This is by itself a prize. Winners are 300, but lucky people I do not know. When Sri Swamiji gives you a flower, then it is blessing. Don’t argue what flower is it? Even if a plastic flower is thrown at you, it is still a flower blessed by Sri Swamiji. No arguments about the presence or absence of fragrance in it. It is His sankalpa. Suddenly Sri Swamiji will ask which MMS was posted last week. Then if you smile and say I have not registered, I will not believe you. Then Sri Swamiji says, “I have no blessing and affection for you”. I will not tolerate any complaints regarding the grammatical mistakes in MMS quotes. It is a message from Sri Swamiji, inspite of His very busy schedule. I have got it done with 20 people. I have liking to use all the technologies in my MMS, what is wrong. I want them to look beautiful, what is wrong. The entire letters in this creation are mine. Are you ignorant people aware of this fact? I am omnipresent in all hearts. I have no births and deaths. I have no birthday celebrations or death anniversaries. I have taken this body for this incarnation to pay for someone’s deeds. I am there everywhere. I know all the feelings.
If you cry, it is as if I am crying.
If you laugh, it is as if I am laughing.
If you are in debts it is like I am in debts.
If you are rich, it is as if I am rich.
If it pains to you, it as if I am having pain.
When I am with such feeling, why are you feeling different?
You do not trust me, then I also get the same feeling regarding you.
We must not entertain such feelings. Try to understand the Avadootha Tattva, not My tattva. Nobody can catch My tattva. You may understand Avadootha Tattva (it is said that Avadootha Tattvam is very difficult to understand) but not Sri Swamiji Tattva. “ Na tarama ne tarama ne mahima. Ne tarmo kado nuvvu yevvarni”. A devotee says “O God You don’t know who You are? How would I know?” We are ignorant and innocent people. We are small people. Do not play like intellectuals. We are very very very very small. We are very minute, who are not even visible to the eye, but we feel as intellectuals. Today I have seen new type of dance. A dance where the hips did not bend. Ok Jaya Guru Datta.
