Gist of speech by HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji – November 13 , 2013 – Surath
Swamiji said that when we wake up in the morning, we should look at our palms, see Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh and get Datta Darshan. Swamiji will give Darshan in the palms, and when you place your palms to your eyes the day’s work will get fulfilled.
Our 5 fingers represent Pancha bhuta tatva-the whole body is represented in fingers and hands. Hence, let these hands do only good actions. Music, Dance etc reside in each mudra. Arogya shastra (health science) dwells in our fingers. Lord has given tremendous strength in our hands. So, don’t underestimate them, put the hands to good use.
Gods reside in every part of the body, our Body is Temple. So keep the Body Temple as pure as possible. Don’t misuse it or make it impure as body is Temple.
The Human Birth is obtained for the Lord alone. Utilise each and every moment for God. Otherwise our Birth is wasteful and useless. Do not waste time discussing politics, gossiping, watching TV, as all this is time pass.
To fulfil selfish needs people tell a lot of lies, and this causes Buddhi pollution. Buddhi pollution cause more harm than air and other forms of pollution.
Swamiji narrated about Prahlada: Lord Narasimha asked Prahlada what he desired, wealth, kingdom etc. Prahlada replied that he did not wish for any worldly material things. So the Lord inquired whether Prahlada was afraid to ask because of HIS fierce Narasimha Roopa (form). To this Question Prahlada replied that he was NOT at all afraid of Lord’s Narasimha Roopa, in stead he was terrified of Sansaar Roopa! Hence, he desired only Liberation at the Hands of the Lord just as the Lord had granted liberation to his father Hiranyakashyapa.
Swamiji ended by saying , have Faith, Devotion, Love. Atman has no age, so irrespective of age, come running for darshan of Swamiji.
