Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji during “Celestial Music Raga Sagara” Meditation and Healing Music Concert – October 31, 2014 – Abu Dhabi

Jaya Guru Datta

It is like music. A different kind of music, not Carnatic, not Hindustani, not film songs, not light music. Different, different music. It is an ancient technique, an experiment. Experience, relax, and forget all your tensions and problems. Business problems also you forget. Just listen or sleep for two hours. This modern Veena looks like a synthesizer. But it is not a synthesizer. Machine is producing sounds. But Nada is Nada. The slides will show each raga, what it does, what its influence is. There are also percussion and other instruments.

Many people are familiar with music. This is not a concert. This is God’s Nada/divine sound, invisible Nada. Nada has no shape. It is not visible. It is produced in your own body. Its effect is produced in your own body. Just enjoy through the experience. In the Nadi region it will have its effect. Not how it heals but how well it heals, how it creates vibrations in our bodies, we will try to understand. Many musicians and music lovers are present here. In any difficulty, people forget their troubles with music. All of today’s problems you forget and listen. Listening is important. Do not analyze and talk about it. Just experience the Nada.

(Kalatraya bodhitam) This was Revati raga. 40 years back so many people experienced the wonderful effects of this raga.

The 2nd raga is a new raga Divyamavati, produced in Abu Dhabi. It has different notes and different sounds. This one is for particular pain, for back pain and joint pains also.

(Yugayuga)
(Kapi ragam – Jaya jaya vani)

Last main raga now is Nama Narayani for the whole body.

After that Rain drops in Keeravani, a very ancient raga. No film music is there without Keeravani.

We go now to new tune. Please forget all pains. Just now we are starting the healing raga. Forget all problems, close your eyes and listen to today’s star raga.

(Rain drops in Keeravani)
(Mangalam in Sama raga)
