Anagha Vrata Puja, Guru Paduka Puja, Music by the three Durgis, Bhagavad Gita chanting by children, Hanuman Puja – so many fine programs are going on here, while some people in the audience are sleeping or yawning, as others are enjoying. I am very happy. From Friday, some episodes from the Sundara Kanda will be explained during the Saptaha, a seven day discourse. For seven days the speeches will be in Telugu. Some gist will be given in English script shown on the big screen. I am not going to do the Saptaha in English. Bhajans during the discourse are very important. Those who live close by, those who live in the nearby neighborhoods, and all the Bala Datta children are encouraged to attend.
Next time, get the children to memorize all the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita. Next year, a contest will be held. It is a great achievement in life to learn the entire Bhagavad Gita by heart. It is the best gift you can give to Swamiji. You give that gift to your children. Later they will settle in life. In childhood, let them learn this. It will help them greatly. Srikant Challa will train the children. Assistants also will help. Aishwarya and others. He will come every one or two months. Please make arrangements for his visits. Teach the Bala Datta students also. Have Srikant visit frequently to explain the importance of learning the Bhagavad Gita.
Teach Telugu and Kannada to all your children. You must speak the mother tongue at home. You neither know Telugu nor English well. When you get angry, both the languages get forgotten and you cannot even scold each another properly.
Class rooms will remain in the old Hanuman Temple building. We will add more class rooms for the Bala Datta classes. If they get hungry, the children may eat right there at the newly built canteen. Yaga shala holds two hundred or more persons. Hold functions there. Puja schedule for the temple will soon be finalized. Attend the pujas. It is like building your bank balance. Attend from tomorrow the Sundara Kanda discourses. Do not miss.

Even if you have paid the initial deposit, be sure to also support periodically or through generous monthly payments.
Hira aunty, you sent a message saying that the MMS have become irregular. MMS (SGS Musical Message Sayings Videos) are always regular. If you are not receiving regularly, that means your wi-fi is irregular. Your IPhone, Ipad, and lap top are irregular. Swamiji’s messages are never irregular. Never use that word. It hurts me. Everything is streamlined, we have a procedure in place to ensure that all messages go out as per schedule. Others are also complaining that they are not receiving daily. But not a single person appreciates or sends a letter to Swamiji expressing gratitude or pleasure for this blessing of daily MMS messages. That is what I was speaking about yesterday. Since there is no appreciation, I am thinking of stopping sending the MMS altogether. No one has the right to complain that the messages are irregular. Maybe I did not understand your English message properly. I cannot scold the others who have also complained. So I scold you.
Some people cannot read or pronounce words properly.
Chinte yaatako? Bhranti yaatako? was a famous Kannada song. A Tamil singer who was singing on stage, mispronounced the words, and gave the meaning, instead of ‘why do you worry? Why are you deluded?’ He sang so the words meant: ‘Consume drugs, drink Brandy’ – by pronouncing the words as:
Jinde yetogo. Brandy yetogo.
Maga ganapati, they sing, meaning, My son Ganapati, instead of Maha Ganapati.
My English is bad. You know the wrong words I use. So you replace with the correct word. This is Datta university Children university. My aunt Venkamma would wash my mouth if I spoke even one small word in English. My uncle (her husband) provided soda to the British ruling class, to mix with their brandy. So he became an important man with the British regime. He left his wife and developed bad habits. She took out all her anger on me. I questioned her why she was doing that. She got even more angry and poured cow urine in my mouth if I used any English words. I did not mind it. I swallowed. It was good for my health.
So I developed hatred toward the English language due to her severe punishments. Till Swamiji was 30-40 years old, he never spoke any English. Only for the sake of the MMS, I spoke in English, just to be able to communicate with all of you and the youth.
I wanted to also become a professor. Then I too could have read big books by Max Mueller like Prasad does. Any mistakes you find in the MMS or the published quotes, the mistakes are all yours. If you find errors, do not find fault. You go ahead and correct the mistakes yourselves.
If you did not get the emails, it is your fault. Not our fault. I give. if you do not receive, it is your fault. A good man who receives a good thing, will use it well. A thief misuses it. Another foolish person will throw it away.
Early morning quotes you receive from Swamiji, taken from Swamiji’s speeches, you share with your children. You read them. You will benefit from them. Thousands of such quotes have been prepared from Swamiji’s own speeches.
If you praise and appreciate Swamiji for His efforts, He feels more encouragement to give you more. A mother feels like she is in heaven if her food is praised. If one eats but ignores or complains about the food, she gets angry.
If there are problems with the microphone, if there is any flaw in the sound system, you complain. If a photographer blocks the view, he gets scolded. But if the photos are bad pictures, then also he is blamed. Priests get blamed for blocking the view while doing puja. It is their karma that sound technicians, photographers, and priests always get scolded and blamed. Nadaswara artists, who are good musicians, get scolded. They are stopped all the time while they are playing eagerly. You cannot enjoy the music, the artists feel. The musicians may get paid, but they do not practice their art only for money. You must show respect for their talent and skill.
Here you are receiving free service. Yet, you complain. Venkateswara Swami prasadam you are given and you complain of less sugar or less salt. Whereas if you purchase food, you eat without complaint. A canteen is being built, that is why. You then have to pay. Then you won’t complain.
