Our life’s journey is very long. There are no short cuts. In each lifetime we get born in different families. That way we have so many mothers, fathers, and relatives. That is why we feel attraction towards many people. It is not love. It is only bondage and attractions from past births. It may be good or it may be bad. It is caused by God’s Maya Sakti, power of illusion. We must try to break such bonds. We can explore those and break the attachments.
We must learn about those. Hanuman is our Guru and our life force. Without Hanuman’s grace we have no breath. Breath is the basis for our life. Life is Brahma. We must think about Prana, life energy. We must do Pranayama. We must understand about Prana. Hanuman is called the Lord of Life or God of Life. Our life is in His hands. Please protect my life, we pray. When you protect life, the body is protected. When life departs, the body cannot do anything. With the body we cannot go to Vaikuntha. We can only go after leaving the body.
There are three types of body. Gross body, the physical body. The second one is the subtle body. The thirds body is the causal body.
After the physical body is given up, the subtle body remains. It knows and experiences all the good and bad actions that we perform. We have to conduct ourselves very carefully during our sojourn on earth. We must not tell lies. We just heard the bhajan composed by an Avadhoota. It is a spiritual bhajan. We take God’s name in a spiritual way. Each bhajan has a spiritual meaning. You must listen to the meaning.
In each and every bhajan, and they are there in different languages, Telugu, Kannada, etc., they are not just names, like Hare Rama, Hare Krishna, but along with God’s names there is also spiritual teaching in each of Swamiji’s bhajans. You must make an effort to understand the meaning.
In Gujarat and in North India, Bhagavatam is widely studied. As an austerity, devotees read the Bhagavatam. It is important to also learn the meaning of the scripture. It is not just a story of Krishna’s childhood stories in the 10th chapter. Ramayana is also not just a story about Rama and Sita. The process of Creation is explained as the inner meaning. Who are we? What is the purpose of our lives? Do not ask Guru frivolous questions about minor problems of life. You are wasting your opportunity and friendship with Sadguru by doing so, by talking about small problems. You should be ashamed to ask such things. You must ponder about God. You must do Satsang. In the short time you must get the best benefit of Guru’s association.
Rama’s name is very precious.
Kantamala bhajan contains such a deep meaning. You must ponder over it. Contemplate on the meaning of the lyrics.
You listen to the Bhagavatam. That is Sravan. Afterwards, you must think about what you have heard. After thinking and recollecting, deep meditation is required, over the meaning that you have understood. What was explained as the inner meaning? When you are about to go to sleep, deeply think about the meaning. Only then you get the benefit. Otherwise, it goes through one ear and comes out through the other. Vedanta secrets are contained in the stories of Bhagavatam and Ramayana.

Speak to the children about Avadhoota, Sri Rama, or Dattatreya. Then the children will get interested. They will ask questions. Otherwise, they only watch TV, quarrel, and have misunderstandings. Or else they are very busy eating meals. For children, it is very important to communicate with children. Adults when they do mistakes, the children learn from us. We are doing a mistake in the way we raise our children. We spoil them. We are only preoccupied with misunderstandings, watching TV and eating meals. Do not quarrel in front of children.
Today we performed the Chandi Homa. Tomorrow evening may be Swamiji will sing bhajans. We will see. Surat program is a miracle. Datta Bhagavan Himself has called me here. In the temple here many miracles have occurred.

During the last visit, some disturbance was there in the mind. This time I am very happy. I am extremely happy. Goplaniji, I am extremely happy this time. Very great miracle has occurred here. All the repairs are done, the whole temple has been changed, renovated. This is a new creation.
For the temple a roof must be built. Some confusion is there. Tomorrow I will give clear instructions. For the plans, every one of you must participate. I will also participate. Small or big, it does not matter. 24 years means two cycles are finished. Two Mandalas are completed. That is why some repairs have to be done. I do not know what your plans are. Jaya Guru Datta.
