Will you give up coffee, tea, bath or brushing teeth? If you give up brushing teeth, then I won’t speak to you. There is another thing, where, if it is inconvenient for you, will you avoid doing it?

Such is the joy. If you don’t have children, purchase a toy and give to the neighbor’s child. See the joy in the face of the child. The child will jump up and down with excitement. That is Hanuman. Jaya Hanuman. That joy you cannot purchase even with a million rupees. You must learn to give.
Toys I purchase frequently, lots of them. Suddenly I have them stop the car. It may even create a traffic jam. The Hyderabad concert was an excellent event. On the way back I stopped the car and purchased all the toys and flutes at a street side shop. I had them fill up the trunk with those. I said I will take them to Mysore, when someone asked me what I would do with them. I paid the shop owner a thousand rupees when he told me that at the end of the day, he perhaps earns 500 rupees. I had some volunteers pay for the purchase. I had no money. It destroyed their sins.
I went to one house and gave a few toys to some children. Some were poor children. Some were rich children. No Vedanta talk at such a time why one should give to the prosperous children. Appaji, please give me one, said a child, leaving her mother and coming to Swamiji. That instant, I saw my mother Sri Jayalakshmi Mata in the faces of all the children. That is puja. Doing puja regular way is necessary to steady the mind. But we must give to others. See God in the hungry. Feed them. When some brahmins eat their fill, thoroughly enjoying the meal, the person serving the food gets immense joy. Mother serves the children and relishes the enjoyment of the children. She does not even care about saving some food for herself. Some short-tempered husbands who would have eaten a Masala Dosa at a restaurant before coming home, will complain about the wife’s cooking. Such husbands should not be shown food, only the handle of the serving ladle. That is what I would do. Although I have no husband. Men have only God as husband. Debts are the husband for men. That is why I tell them to reduce their debts.
To get the husband to rush home, improve the quality of your cooking.
Some people are playing a new trick these days, claiming that Swamiji called them or that Bala Swamiji called them and dupe people saying that they were asked to perform some rituals at their homes. Swamiji and Bala Swamiji never make such phone calls. Do not believe such cheats.
Do we, after we pour ghee or offer a Modaka into the fire pit, again put our hand in the fire to retrieve it? If you will do it, I will give you a reward. Once something is given to Sadguru, one must never ask about it again. With a good heart you give. Never look back to see what Swamiji has done with your gift. Even if He feeds it to a donkey, it is His wish and His business. Once given, the item is not yours anymore.

No problem if it is getting late. If you are hungry, you may go and eat. Time follows me. I do not obey time. All of you must remain within the confines of time. I should not be rushed. Many people show me the watch. They want me to notice the expensive brand that they are wearing. When Siva will call me, I do not know. Then, when the call comes from Him, I will leave everything and go away.
Sahasra Kalasabhishekam for Lord Siva is there today till the evening. Please don’t rush. Even after eating your meal you may do it. There is nothing wrong. Just wash your hands thoroughly and say a prayer asking for forgiveness. Each one may enter the sanctum sanctorum. You have special permission. This area at this time required a Siva Temple consecration. Pray for protection from rare diseases. You are all innocent people. Even scientist are struggling to find a cure for some troublesome diseases.
You say, what more can we do? We are doing Hanuman Chalisa parayana. We are doing the Purna Phala Deeksha. We are participating in Share-your-food. That is good. Just following Sadguru’s instructions is itself an austerity.

Siva loves the Siva Tandava/Dance of Siva. He leaps from one sphere to another in the galaxies spread trillions and trillions of miles apart in the cosmos. He covers each in just one step. We do not know how many such stars or worlds there are existing out there. Satya, Vishnu, and Siva lokas are the three worlds. Kailasa is not Siva Loka. It is only a temporary stopover on earth for Siva. Those worlds are different. 172 lokas are associated with each of those worlds. 16 crore subsidiary lokas are there. Even a computer is not sufficient to calculate, comprehend. or describe these. Only the Vedas have mentioned and in the Brahmanda Purana in the section describing Nature’s Creation. The scriptures and science both confess that it is beyond human comprehension. We know very little. Even what we know, we cannot perceive.
If one person takes birth 100 or even 1000 times and lives 100 years each time, still he cannot comprehend with all his mental development – this immeasurable dimension. We imagine that we travel to the moon. Those types of visions and perceptions are each like one small step of Siva. Siva’s principle is beyond our grasp. Siva has no form. He is a point. He is nothing material. We assign a form to Siva. For a ball, where is the beginning? Where is the end? If you take any sphere, you cannot determine a beginning or an end. Beginning and end, good and bad do not exist for God. Humans have the dualities like light and darkness, we have red and white blood cells, we have the concepts of good and bad. God is free from such differentiations.
God is formless. The form which appeared once as a minute point, which the deities saw, gave the form of a Siva Linga. They have depicted it as a Siva Lingam. We are less than subatomic particles. If you split a hair into 1000 parts, one per cent of that is man, or even a hundredth part of that, if you can imagine that.
We are invisible to God. Even our planet earth is invisible if you travel enough distance away from it. The globe, this Warangal, the people, and their thoughts are all insignificant and not visible. You see nothing in this space that is around. But there are all kinds of spheres that are invisible, going round and round us. That is why we say that God is everywhere. We cannot see them. In the light of the sun’s rays in the morning, we can see the innumerable dust particles, crores and crores of them. In our city we see them. Here may be you only see coffee and tea in the morning. Each dust particle is equivalent to a sphere in the cosmos. We brush it away calling it mere dust. Atom is split. From it comes a ray, a vibration, and radiation emerge from each. Energy emerges from within it. We can grasp that energy. Science is able to extract that energy. The spark of energy travels from here to elsewhere.
Between Swamiji and you there is an energy, an aura. That energy clasps your energy. With the help of that energy, I grab your attention. No wire is there connecting us. There is no specific principle involved. Cause and effect are not there. Only for explanations you mention cause and effect. The vibration from this dust hits your ears and you hear Swamiji’s words, you see his form, you understand Swamiji’s principle. That is the power of Siva. Siva worship and Siva abhishekam washes away all the contamination from the hearts of humans. That is why it is very important for everyone to give Abhishekam to Siva with Ganga water. The inner form and the outer form merge. Form merges with the formless. We become one with Siva. We then become speechless. The atoms inside the rays, the crores and crores of particles, we call it dust, but each will form into a globe. It may be dust, perhaps, but the atoms inside the dust particles join to form huge spheres. The earth dissolves or melts in water or burns and explodes in fire and disintegrates. We, as atoms fly away as dust. In another planet that forms, we again fall in the wombs of some creatures there, and evolve gradually again into humans after going through births as dogs, donkeys, etc..
This is the process of Creation. Siva is at the foundation for all this. We consecrated this Lord in the noon time auspicious time, which is cool as moonlight. Especially those who have come from Mysore cannot endure that coolness. We performed at such a special time the Kumbhabhishekam, so that everyone’s life will be cool and pleasant.

Bhajan: Hey Ganapa he natapa
Every one must come here and learn bhajans. These are not ordinary bhajans. Every bhajan is filled with healing powers. It will grant you spiritual knowledge. Television watching serves no purpose in life. It leaves you with nothing. It is only for passing time. You must earn something valuable for yourselves. What you do spiritually for yourself, is what will come to your aid. No matter how devoted you may be, you are not performing the required karma/actions. You must do physical service. Cleaning, maintenance, and chanting prayers. You do only when Swamiji comes. That is not right. That is Swamiji also does not greet you enthusiastically. It is because of your negligence in participating in activities. I know exactly who comes, who does not come, who does annadanam, who does no type of service, who performs pujas, and who simply makes noise and causes troubles. That is why when Swamiji sees such persons, His expression becomes unpleasant as if He just swallowed raw castor oil. Are you not ashamed? You should not cause Guru to get so angry at you. It is bad for you, your family members and the future of the family. If you keep doing service, your sins will get destroyed.
People ask, what is it I can do? If nothing else, at least sit and do dhyana/meditation. You do not need to ask me for favors. Your education, your well being, everything will be automatically taken care of. Just physically coming and asking for favors is not good. It turns into a business deal. It hurts my feelings that you are just not growing spiritually. That is exactly the reason why Karyasiddhi Hanuman has been installed here. By offering a Purna Phala, so many problems get resolved. So many people get so immensely energized to endure their difficulties.
Lord Dattatreya is here. He grants spiritual wisdom. Today Lord Siva, who cures all diseases, has also been consecrated. Therefore, tell your troubles to the gods here. There is no need to wait for Swamiji to come here, to personally listen to your troubles. It is said that my hearing is poor. It is either your karma or my karma that it is so. Physically what you tell me, it is true, that I do not hear a single word. But what you tell me heart to heart, I hear every single word. You will at once know the result also. You should recognize the connection. Only when Swamiji Himself initiates a conversation and asks of the welfare of you and your family members, you should speak. It is a great good fortune and a great yoga for Guru Himself to ask such questions whether your child has passed the exam, or whether you are able to remain strong to face your challenges. To earn such a grace from Guru, you must keep performing services. You must sing bhajans. You must form bhajan groups. What you are doing is not sufficient. Swamiji’s bhajans are medicines. This is a hospital. If you come here and sing bhajans, your intake of medicines will reduce. You may still need to visit your doctor, but your problems will reduce.
Many people do not understand the meaning of seva. What is seva? Is it holding His beard? Is it holding His feet? That is not seva. Coming to bhajans, practicing bhajans, singing bhajans, studying Swamiji’s Life History, sharing the episodes with others, teaching your children about Swamiji, about Tataji, is very important. Some elders have taught their children. But these days, the parents do not teach their children our traditions at all. How will the children learn?
They don’t teach them any of our customs. Only school, special tuition. Then children grow up and go after love, marriage, and children. They refuse to come to Swamiji. You must make the children understand.
In America, our Telugu devotees, have shown each and every child all about Swamiji. I feel so happy. Such change has occurred in them. They miss our culture. Even while in the womb, the child is exposed to Swamiji’s bhajans continuously. Thousands of experiences they have shared. The children know Swamiji’s bhajans. They clap as babies when they hear Swamiji’s voice. Even birds and animals recognize Swamiji’s voice and songs.
Most people here quarrel during pregnancy, overeat, drink excess amounts of coffee and tea, watch terrible showa on television about anger, violence, and rage. Tataji is introduced to all the children there. They are made to love and adore Swamiji since infancy. Once the children are 3 years old, I will look after them. They will not leave Swamiji. You may get ready then to have more children. Go ahead and bear 5 children each. I don’t mean the elderly people. Only the youthful ones may have more children. We need more Hindus. All Swamiji’s devotees in America do this. Bala Datta classes are regularly conducted. They miss Indian culture and so they maintain it there. The children excel at studies. Saturday evening and Sundays are dedicated to Swamiji. They make plans way ahead of time for any other activities, so that they do not miss Bala Datta classes or Swamiji’s visits.
You all take a vow right now that you will follow such an example. Even unmarried ones raise your hands and promise now. You will get married in the future no matter what I say. Your family members will insist. Whether or not you will marry in the future, whether or not you will have children, Swamiji already knows. Those who are destined to have children will have them. Be ready for any type of future. Either get married, have children, and raise them in the Datta tradition, or spend your lives in Swamiji’s service. The youth of 15 or 20 years ago are now married and have given birth to wonderful children. So many grandsons and granddaughters I have. I am extremely happy to see them. I am very proud of them.

This is the first day cover. It is very valuable. You please receive these from the volunteers to raise funds for the Hanuman Chalisa Parayana. Each can take 5 or 10 of them. You can use these to send Happy New Year greetings for Ugadi. It was actually given to Swamiji to take to Mysore. But I wish to use them here as a resource for fund raising.
The old devotees know how we took care of this sacred Audumbara Tree which is featured here. The entire stock should be exhausted here itself. Do not save any for my taking to Mysore. Next, in Hyderabad a Hanuman Chalisa Parayana will take place. We need funding for that also.
This first day cancellation stamp is only kept in the post office. It will be used only on the first day, today.
You may use the cover at any time. I have resigned from my post in the post office. But even today, I am not spared from the work as a postal worker. I used to sit in the postmaster’s chair and devotees would queue up in the post office for interviews with Swamiji. So many retired people from those days still come and tell Swamiji to this day, our ailments are gone, our children are thriving, thanks to Swamiji’s blessings. Finally the authorities begged me to resign because they could not handle the crowds of devotees coming to the post office. The padukas are the postal stamp. Once you touch them, your difficulties will vanish. You may give not just fifty but a hundred rupees for each envelope. Now we have to begin raising funds for the Hanuman Chalisa Parayana events.
I also need funding for handicapped persons. I told this lady who wants to help such persons to approach some officers to raise funds. I give fifty thousand rupees to start with on this auspicious day of Siva Temple’s consecration. This is Prasadam. Approach the government also for funding. Have we not placed our votes. On behalf of Warangal ashrama you will be given a cheque today towards this charity.

Hanuman Chalisa chant
Keep out all thoughts. Meditate only on Hanuman. Follow the script. No talking, no talking on the telephone during the chant.
Maintain silence for two minutes, contemplating on Hanuman after completing the chant.
Chant 40 times daily without fail at home. Do 20 in the morning and 20 in the evening. If you fail to do it in the morning, you may not have enough time in the evening to complete all 40. Daily send in your count. Visit the ashram every Sunday. It is our ashram. We must take care of it. Swamiji has not come recently because you needed to put in more effort here. More buildings are not important. More service is important. Social service, share your food, and such activities.
Manmatha new year is going to commence. Mother Goddess should be offered prayers. Manmatha gives good desires also. He fulfills desires. Do not have negative thoughts about Manmatha. The Maha Yajna should successfully conclude, with 130 crores or 600 crores of Hanuman Chalisa chantings, who knows? You said you would organize Hanuman Chalisa with 10,000 devotees. So Swamiji came running.
Let us have some humor now. We have been too serious all along. Let us have some jokes. This man’s life was saved. Now he wants to make us laugh.
Happy New Year. Manmatha Year. Hyderabad is close by. Only two or two and a half hour drive. You can easily come and have darshan. It will be nice. Normally 4-5 buses come from Warangal. Of course, here also you must celebrate the Ugadi festival. In Tenali I saw about 6 busloads of devotees from Warangal. I felt very happy to see so many devotees wearing Datta Vastrams. Tomorrow there is Girija Kalyanam here. Swamiji will give harati at 8 am and then will leave for Hyderabad.
Many ashramas Swamiji has not visited recently. They have built many big buildings. Many Datta ashramas and Paduka Ashramas are thriving. Even if I do not visit, the progress is continuing. I am happy about it.
