First a couple of announcements before I disclose something very important.
Tomorrow is the last day of Brahmotsava. There will be Pratyaksha Pada Puja. Please do not miss the events and regret later. Very important days tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
Tonight there will be Teppotsava if there is no rain, for Sri Datta Venkateswara.
We need rains. We will be happy also if it rains. My gardens are happy and the parrot are comfortable because of daily rains. They were struggling to bear the heat of the summer.
Today a small inauguration will take place, of a tiny aviary inside the large aviary. Critically endangered Sun Conures are kept there. They are native to Brazil. But other birds of prey are destroying their eggs. The government there has tried to preserve them. But in the huge Amazon forest, they are not being successful. This year these parrots were declared as critically endangered. Your great grandchildren will only see their photos. Now in this critically endangered status, the cost of purchasing a bird earlier was 5-6 thousand rupees. Now they cost 25-30K or even 1 lakh rupees from breeders. They normally do not speak. But Swamiji makes them speak in this ashrama. We made the impossible possible. Good night, Good Morning, etc. they say. Like a dog they attack new comers. We had two. They have given birth to some chicks.
Now Swamiji has acquired about 100 such Sun Conures. For them, it is like a forest, this small aviary. In a small space, Swamiji has created a forest setting. Swamiji has designed it beautifully. Only if you see, you will believe.
Only those with a badge may enter. This is next to the Lorikeets feeding area. The birds may land on you to accept the food you offer. We kept 4 tamed parrots, so that they will come to you to pose for pictures. The others are wild and may be afraid to come near you. They are given training to go to humans, so that devotees will get the blessings of those divine parrots. You will have a remembrance to have such photos. You miserly people give only 100 rupees per ticket as posted. That is not fair. Take one coupon for each member of the family. Give more funds generously. This is a personal project of Swamiji.
First, this umbrella is sold for 800 rupees. These are specially ordered. There is another umbrella with a fan. You may specially order. May be with AC and coffee and tea drips also may be available. Who knows? You may enquire.
Auctioning now this umbrella. For 105,000 rupees it is sold to Jayalakshmi Mata – the lucky devotee, the highest bidder.
Yesterday a special modern hospital for birds was inaugurated in the evening in our ashrama. All unique facilities, first in the country, an incubator, scanning, X-Ray machines, DNA testing, microscopes, Breeding center, Mortuary, Post Mortem facility are provided. Only avian doctors will be permitted entry. An extremely sophisticated, scientific hospital.
Now, pay attention to my words. Swamiji is creating history in the world. 700 crores Hanuman Chalisa japam in this day and age, during this year, Swamiji has launched, not only in India but in 68 countries. He is conducting this mega Vrata.
World Association gave support today to our project. This is the first time for a religious event like this at such large proportions. Already we are posting participation as photos. Now as HD video form, they are asking, with one lakh participants. Before Dallas abhishekam, send one count for 10 thousand and then for 90 thousand before end of the year.
Take this as a project. They threw a challenge at us. They do not know about Swamiji. Those born in the future, in your family lineage will be devout due to this merit earned by you. They will be prevented from sufferings unless they deliberately commit sin. They will take refuge in Sadguru. I have the conviction. Each one should go in front of the camera. In the Healing room, and in the room in front of the Marakata Simhasana, recording will take place. All with HD cameras, please cooperate and lend your cameras. Swamiji is doing this for the benefit of everyone.
All those who have the ability to do this, create 10 thousand videos. On the day of Kumbhabhishekam in Dallas, to place the 10 thousand individual videos will make me very happy. Please help me to protect humanity, this planet earth. So that people do not suffer from calamities. Only Hindi Hanuman Chalisa will be accepted for this project.

Nothing will please me more. Sometimes people will get confused and make mistakes. No editing is allowed. At one go, it should come out perfect. You can choose either the fast or the slower version. Stick to Appaji’s tune. 4 min. one goes a little slower. Easier to chant. The 3 minute version requires complete confidence to the ones who chant. No fumbling or editing. Whole thing will have to be re-recorded if you make a single mistake. That is punishment.
Write your name, address, Your identity card is required. Voting card, Adhaar card. They are very good to have. Income tax Pan Card. Phone number also. Full name should be given. Then your family also gets blessed. In Gandharva Loka are they going to check your ID? No. The World Organization will check.

No coughing or other noises while recording. Sing at your comfortable pitch. Sing at a comfortable pace. There is no need to rush. Children also, boys and girls, get ready. Men, women, foreigners, Veda boys, old persons. No applause should be given at conclusion. It wastes the whole effort. Mispronunciations are not acceptable, not even at 3-4 places, as the lady has made. I forgive her because she is Marathi and her language is different. But your rendering must be clean and precise. You should not hesitate and forget in the middle.
See how beautifully this little girl has sung. Now a Veda student will chant. You must not look at the people. Only look up to see the camera.

Speech in evening – Raft Festival, Teppotsavam
Bhajan: Indiresa Govinda … When the world was filled with water during the final deluge or Jala Pralaya, the thumb-sized Lord re-created the Universe. In one yuga Agni Pralaya, and in another, Jala Pralaya, like this they occur. Everything becomes dark. Nothing is seen. The Maya or illusory Lord lies on a leaf from a Banyan tree, sucking on his big toe, holding his baby foot with his hand. He re-creates after a long time of several Yugas duration. We should pray to God to fix the Lord’s sacred feet in our hearts firmly even after such a Jala Pralaya, praying by chanting the 24 names of God. The invisible rishis, like Sanaka, Sanandana, and others witness this Pralaya and the re-creation by the Lord, and they rejoice. Creation begins anew. One aspect of Creation leading to another, ever evolving. Whom to protect, and how, all of these details about the process of Creation are described in the first two chapters of the Bhagavatam.
Suka Brahma (parrot-faced Avadhoota, Sage Suka, the son of Sage Vyasa) explained all this to King Parikshit. We cannot understand. Yajna Narayana Swami initiates this Creation. We must do 24/7 Parayana of the Bhagavatam. We must continuously keep reading or studying the Bhagavatam, in an attempt to understand this subject. Agni (Fire) and Jala (Water) Pralayas alternate. Vatapatra Sayi, is how the Lord is described, an infant resting on a banyan leaf that is floating on the waters. Nectar he sucks as he sucks on His big toe. It is not the picture of an innocent child. It is God as He is creating the Universe.
Many Yugas elapse before the new Creation begins. Then, each of the celestials resumes assuming their individual specific duties. The earth did not exist. It also came into being after the re-creation after getting submerged in the Pralaya. Vegetation also re-emerged. Creatures, including us, come into being, take birth an die, and thus get caught in the repetitive wheel of births and deaths.
We must chant the Guru mantra, Mantra given to us by Sadguru. It is now the Hanuman Chalisa. The atmospheric imbalance causes catastrophes. We must protect ourselves. In Jala Pralaya. All becomes dark and frozen. The rishis invisibly witness this wondrous God’s Leela. Today we enjoy offering a water swing for God. We pray that we are spared from the sufferings caused by Jala and Agni Pralayas. This procedure for this ritual came from the Agama sastras. Perhaps. But it is really all about Creation. Our past merit has given us this chance to witness this glorious scene of Lord Sri Datta Venkateswara enjoying this activity of floating on the waters. Today is a great occasion. We are viewing the Jala Pralaya scene, praying to be spared from such a calamity.
Bhajan: Krishnam vishnum. … Bhajan: Srinivasa Govinda… All of you have darshan of the Lord after this Teppotsavam, Raft Festival.
When you do the recording of the Hanuman Chalisa, there should be no mistakes whatsoever. You must first practice with the script and correct your errors. Otherwise, it will waste a lot of time in repeated recordings, as happened today.
