Time does not wait for anybody; it always keeps moving ahead. Whether we like it or not we have to keep pace with time and move ahead. All beings which are born must participate in the journey of time in order to rejuvenate their spirits. Even the departed have to wait for time, like a bird, to be reborn. In this course of creation, time keeps rolling ahead. This is the law of the generation. Consequences have to be faced for any deviations from this law.
Today, many of the problems man is facing is because he transgressed the law of nature. He is suffering the results of his sins in the form of ill-health, calamities and impropriety. The same rule applied to every living being born on this earth. God has not devised separate rules for man but has given him some extra intelligence. Because of this extra intelligence, man who considers himself to be the wisest, is similar to a frog in a well, trying to measure the universe.
Man is so stupid that instead of allowing the body to grow naturally, he used artificial methods and ruined his health. The algae which grow in water is considered a plant, but man considers the water with algae disgusting. Yet, he made pills with it and rejoiced by considering it nutritious. Unaware that his body is also made up of micro-organisms, he used pesticides in food, drinking water, clothes and ruined himself.
Probably, to a certain extent, man caused his own ruin due to his greed, and the rest was due to his foolishness to see the universe through a microscope. He sank in delusion by trying to see God`s creation of the universe in the microscope. He was startled to see so many micro-organisms and wanted to eliminate them. But the ignorant man who asserted about the atomic theory, forgot that the creation of the universe was by these micro-organisms.
It has been billions of years since the creation of earth and millions of years since man came to earth. The fact that man has lived so far, means that he lived righteously in the past. The ignorant man instead of realising this subtle fact, is trying to destroy the micro-organisms, but in turn bringing about his own destruction. God infuses certain protective cells in our body when sending us to earth. As long as we protect these cells in our body, the body will be safe. By foolishly killing these protective cells, man is now terrified of even tiny micro-organisms.
At least now, in this Plava naama samvatsara of Vaivasvata manvantara, man must give up his stupidity and with broad-mindedness, live in tandem with nature. Man must learn to appreciate and enjoy nature’s ways such as the summer’s sweat, monsoon’s rain and winter’s cold, with a positive mind.
